  • No, cannibalism isn't a problem in Russia. The problem is that scoundrels serving particularly serious sentences are pardoned for participating in the war.

OK ... except that when you throw things like that in there that aren't exactly real, it tends to discredit the actual message, since if you exaggerated on that, then who knows what else you're exaggerating.  It would help to actually remain factual.

  • "... as a Russian ..." -- are you trying too hard here, being actually a Ukrainian?
On my father's side, I am a descendant of Pomors and Vepsians, on my mother's side, I am mostly Russian, and I have never been in Ukraine. I can confirm my identity in private messages.

I can find sources confirming the facts of pardoning criminals by Putin.

My goal here is not to conduct Ukrainian propaganda, but to confirm the statements of AntonyPadua and Godefroy and other jw-wise participants about Russia, since I live in the Northwest of the country.

  • I don't think anyone is operating under the illusion that Russia as it currently is doesn't have problems like other countries. The issue is that this particular country is oddly singled out for some kind of miraculous conversation.

Also aside from your political disagreements with the president, the fact remains that they are clearly trending towards upholding the natural moral law. The Jєωιѕн problem and religious indifferentism are everywhere.

But be prepared that you may suffer for the truth in Russia.

  • Yeah, not sure about that.  I just talked to a trad catholic who moved there recently.  Says it's the best things he's ever done.  He's also working with one of the local governments over there to build a catholic church to offer the traditional latin mass.  So take that for what it's worth.

Is he a parishioner of the SSPX or the CMRI?

  • While I respect a lot about Russian culture and heritage, their stand aganst sodomy and immorality and do support their effort against the West in jewkraine, there's no damn way I go live there, not putting my life or the lives of my love ones on a whim that there's some possibility of a catholic shangra lai over there. Basically a total foreign language and people, who, like Matthew states, will never really accept you anyway.

And think about this, when things do eventually do go really south with us and Russia, what kind of treatment do you think you will get as an AMERICAN over there? You will be seen as a pariah at best and enemy of the state at worst, and trust me, you will have no " rights" when shtf.

I've accepted the fact, I'm not going anywhere, no matter what happens, this is where my blood and soil reside, and I'll fight to death defending it.

Be careful, think things through and don't make a stupid move, all this evil wokeness, antichrist, commie bs is worldwide, just like covid, when the shtf again, it won't matter where you live, this satanic, global tryanny is just that, GLOBAL.

  • Another thing you need to think about, Caminus, is that in this country we are taught that foreigners are better people than we are. We have to accept them here, give them special rights, give them free government benefits, give them jobs in preference to Americans. And we are so brainwashed that if anyone criticizes a foreigner for not adapting to American culture, they are hounded by fellow Americans.

This attitude is so widespread in this country that it's easy for us to think this is normal and right, and exists everywhere. The fact is, though, that it's not normal, and doesn't exist anywhere else in the world probably other than the United States. In a normal society foreigners are not welcome, and the members of such a society do not welcome immigrants and do not want them among them, and do not hire them unless there is some unusual reason why, and often want literally nothing to do with them. This is not bad; it's normal, natural and good.

I know a woman who fled communism in Nicaragua about 40 years ago and went to Mexico. She couldn't get a job; nobody would hire her. Every time she asked a business to hire her, they would tell her, "No, Mexico is for Mexicans." And that's towards someone who speaks the same language they did, whereas you probably don't know any Russian and are not from the same cultural background either.

That is how Russians and everyone else in the world outside this country behave, and that is how they will behave towards you when you go there. It's not going to be fun.

  • That analysis is completely contrary to the testimony of people who have moved there. They all report being welcomed. Are you just theorizing or do you have any evidence that is in fact the case in Russia?

  • Even the most welcoming countries will be hard on the immigrant. It is not easy to be the outsider. It never is.

You must have some stories from your ancestors about moving to America or elsewhere. Was it easy?

I suggest you rent an apartment for a month, if you can find it, and try to live in Moscow to see how you feel. This is the least you can do if you plan to move there.

Plus, you should have some money to move back to where you live now, because it would be very stupid to make such a move without some sort of "B plan".
