In 2003, RTE 1 interviewed Ireland's first Hermit Nun, Sister Irene Gibson. Long before the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI issued his Motu proprio letter, encouraging priests to offer the Latin Rite Liturgy, Sister Irene was already attending exclusively the Traditional Latin Rite Mass wherever she could find it. Since the Archbishop of Tuam stated at the time, that he would never allow any priest to enter his diocese to offer the Traditional Latin Rite Liturgy, Sister Irene had therefore to travel long distances each Sunday by public transport to attend Mass in other Counties in Ireland.. Eventually for the burning zeal and love she had for the TRUE Sacrifice of The Mass, she was forced to make an extremely difficult decision. In 2003, she announced publicly that she could no longer travel great distances each Sunday to attend the True Mass of All Times. She needed to sell her Hermitage and relocate to a county in Ireland where the Mass was offered regularly. In 2012, Mount Tabor Hermitage was sold. Her story does not end here.
