Don't forget to add the Phoenix Suns' CEO to that list (can't think of his name), and the Suns' point guard Steve Nash is pro-gαy. I don't think Mark Cuban is gαy since he's married I believe (unless he's a bi-sɛҳuąƖ).

Thanks for pointing that out, PIO. The NBA has been pro-gαy for a while now.

Yeah, Rick Welts for Phoenix Suns.. but he just resigned recently I guess. Note: I don't follow sports at all, just searched online for info:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/6948156/phoenix-suns-president-ceo-rick-welts-resigns

And Charles Barkley apparently was at Phoenix Suns from '92-'96.  Something about that team. Lame... I bought one of the jerseys in my "pre-conversion" days because Nash was the rage.

I've told you before, you need more priest and less MHFM...

Less MHFM is always a good thing!

As well as some sound priestly advice, some education in catechism and moral theology is always a good thing.

    Yeah, that's his name.

I myself used to have a Phoenix Suns t-shirt...I think it's in the trash now. Even if that team wasn't pro-gαy, being a Traditional Catholic I don't need to be walking around with a sports shirt on.

    Ok OK, less MHFM....

Right after this one. A multitude of points brought up, not just about Voris but about Benedict XVI's actions, Lutherans, and Protestants. Oh boy, what a good long video here from them:

MHFM has some good instruction, but, as a priest  once told me:
MHFM has 90% truth and 10% error.  Its the 10% error that can lead souls to hell"

  • I have to admit, if you give that latest MHFM I just linked a listen-through, you will clap your hands and find it phenomenal. I laughed out loud at one part (you'll know if you get to it) thinking "oh come on, that is reaching really too far." But then they kind of give an explanation and it made it plausible, although in an indirect fashion.

Assisi III was brought up, and just sealed the deal, really. Benedict XVI is not the Pope.

  • My issue with MHFM is that people who don't have a good priest to guide them like Emerentiana, (i.e.- CuriousCatholic) can end up falling for the 10%. Sometimes I really want to use what they have to say, because no one else is taking the time to watch the Vatican like them, but I wont because I don't want to be responsible for another young man like CC turning into a MHFM Clone.

It seems as if he's mellowed out in the past few weeks, and for that, I'm glad. But he needs to have communication with a priest more often. I know its hard for him. I wish he would be able to find a priest willing to have a phone call once a week for some spiritual guidance. It does get frustrating when he asks questions here and people fail to guide him as it 'goes in one ear and out the other'.

I know the answer is clear: prayer. So I'll shut up.

  • I've talked with CC numerous times off-thread, and I can assuredly say he is truly seeking the faith. He definitely isn't a clone for MHFM. He's just where I was not too long ago actually. I think if you got to know him, he is a solid guy and tries very hard. He does pray regularly and I am sure that Mary is protecting him and guiding him towards the truth.

S2srea, no hard feelings man. Prayer is definitely key here for all of us.

  • s2srea,
I would've have given your post a thumbs up, except that I wouldn't want you or anyone else to get the idea that I was thumbing up your line about shutting up. Prayer, yes, absolutely.  We all need to pray for each other but don't stop communicating with CC.  I agree that he needs to find a good priest and he also needs to keep the good friends that he's made here, right CC?  We all need good Catholic friends!

    A Blessed Thanksgiving everyone!

That's what helped seal the deal for me.

As far as MHFM, I wouldn't trust them over a Traditional priest, and I disagree with them on alot of things, but they do have some good material on their web-site.

    Rhea,
I have many good priests to guide me.  It is a total consensus of ALL traditional priests that the Diamond Brothers are in heresy.  We have been told to avoid them and their writings.

I posted on the internet so frequently because I couldn't really trust any priest. I am a sede, so that rules out the SSPX. And then I went through a phase where I was trying to debate whether I could continue to go the SSPX even though I don't believe in their theological position. Then after that, I went through a really scary home-alone phase where I started asking myself if maybe they are no masses I can attend? I started contemplating dogamtic home alonism,  started reading this website from this guy called R.I. who used to be on MHFM and it was really tough. It felt like too much of a cult to me. At the moment, I have stopped assisting at una cuм masses and have adopted the Bp. Sanborn/Fr. Cekada line....although I have some serious follow up questions to their position- do they give absolution/last rites to sspxers who still acknowledge Benedict XVI? Do they make new memebers at their church who have embraced sedevacantism formally renounce V2 and Benedict XVI?
