Morality thrown completely out the window...

A good reminder to encourage children to learn a trade that allows them as much independence as possible.  Necessary occasions of sin are no less dangerous simply because they're necessary.

I work with a bunch of reprobates, myself. I'm surrounded by ultra-libs, a homo and a muslim(who I actually have the most in common with). All of these people are "men" in the late 20's to early 40's. It is truly sad to see what your typical American man has turned into: effiminate, homo, male-feminist, immature video game playing man-child.

I've made my thoughts are their typical conversations quite clear. I only talk to them when I have to for business related matters. The rest of the time I listen to Gregorian chant with the volume up to drown them out.

....and yes, I do TRY to pray for them.....

Malleus: The best way to deal with it is to not laugh , smile , acknowledge and to walk away every time they start in on it.  It doesnt take long before they get the message.   Occasions of Sin are exactly that.  Extracting oneself from them can prove difficult at times - but going to Hell is the price for not.   I think as we all learn the gravity of even one Mortal Sin as we get older - we find ourselves avoiding sin at all costs.

I think ultimately - those who see your efforts will in time come to respect you for it for not just going along with the crowd.  And those who will not , do we really want them as friends anyway.

Pax

Maybe instead of focusing on who they are we should remember who we are.
