  • March for Life Hits Obama, Stopping Tax-Funded Abortions

Washington, DC -- As hundreds of thousands of pro-life advocates make their way to the Supreme Court today, they are focused on two key battles:  combating the pro-abortion agenda of President Barack Obama and stopping taxpayer funding of abortions.

  • I was there in that march! It was really fun (never been to DC), and I actually met a guy who was talking about how bad Vatican II and the new mass was (alongside abortion), which was a pleasant surprise among all the Norvus Ordo Catholics I was hanging around with. It was amazing that he was willing to go so far into enemy territory and speak up about the truth, and what is probably the ultimate reason why the "culture of death" issue is even here in the first place.

As expected, the march, despite having a third of a million people in it, wasn't really that well covered at all.

In regards to being a responsible man, would it be interesting to learn, after six years of accuмulating all the wisdom you could, that you had it right all alon

  • I dont go to the marches, a damn waste of time as tehre is no follow up actions, anyone planning for the 64th march?? might as well as there is no action, just sign hoisting and cheers......

I went to the 13th march deep in snow/ice, no changes-no changes on the HIll, none in the state Govt's, none in polls, none in media-a worthless and expensive exercises that riles up people to do....nothing at all, achieve nothing at all.....likely Juliee was there with the rah-rah bullshit "eelct more Republicans, we are at the cusp of changing things" same old I heard all the yrs ago, and before and after......

Funny thing happened-GOP White House, GOP Congress, GOP friendly judges...........and no changes........

The real doers and shakers?? those out at the clinics, handing out literature at clinics,etc..not in D.C........the fight is at the local, street level and the hearts/minds........again, 37 yrs of speeches and marches have done very very little.......it is an exercise in feeling good and thinking one is "doing something".

No offense Lybus, just saying and all.......

    None taken.

I've never been to DC so it was worth the trip to see how these things went. Heck I might go again since I was able to go for 50 bucks thanks to a pro-life club I'm currently in at campus.

And yes...the fight is at the local. What's ironic is that despite the internet and our world-wide access to peoples, we are still reduced to a very low level of communication, thanks to our friend the media and the republocrats. They have modern technology, reaching vast groups of peoples, whereas we must speak through ancient means....talking to our immediate neighbors....
