Which spiritual works are best for combatting lukewarmness?

In my experience, The Bible, St. Louis de Montfort, St. Francis de Sales, and The Imitation of Christ.

Reading about the fewness of the saved usually does the trick:

Other than that, I would suggest diligently praying the Rosary.

There is a book, small: "Lukewarmness, The Devil in Disguise by Francis Carvajal, Sinag-Tala Publishers, Inc.,Manila.  I also notice ISBN 0933932-59-6 (Scepter) which is a publisher.

The best remedy:  Rosary, often.  Who doesn't express his love for  Mary in some way, does not possess the fullness of the faith.  Sacraments: confession often.  Where ever the sacraments are, there you will find the Precious Blood.  Another good book for encouraging Marian devotion is The Secret of the Rosary, by tan publishers.  Wow!  It surprised me.  I thought it would be repeats of what I may have read, and it was new to me!!  In order to get out of lukewarmness, I like movies like the Song of Bernadette, it moves me.  These 2 books will awaken in you newness.  You may read and find new revelations and miracles you never knew.  Lukewarmness is of the devil and it is like a snake.  First he is luring, then he can hypnotize.  Then strikes to give venom to control us before devouring.  Also another small book on humility by Tan publishers.
