I am looking at the possibility of hiring a nanny or au pair to help my wife with the children. :baby: I know very little about how to go about this or what the going rate would be. The lady would have to be a Traditional Catholic. If anyone knows more about this or if you or anyone you know is looking for this sort of of position please PM me. We live in the Midwest U.S. Thank you.

You could try contacting the larger chapels and discussing it w/the pastor. I'm sure you would have to be vetted before anyone would consider working for you and also have a personal recommendation from your own pastor.

Perhaps an ad in the parish bulletin would be helpful. Plenty of young ladies will be happy to help.
For full time, an au pair will be probably less expensive than a hourly nanny. Au Pair are usually foreign young women and you will be required to provide room and board. The salary is about 150 - 200 per week.
A nanny salary is usually about 15 dollars / hour average. It can be higher depending on the number of children.
You can also try to find a mother's helper. These are usually very young ladies that would help the wife out for a few hours a week. It is probably the less expensive option.
