I've noticed another pattern. Some people are full of chauvinism/superiority complex due to:
Race
Living in the city ("urban life is superior to rural")
Political affiliation
Technological advancement of the world in general
etc.
But here's the problem -- your pride comes from the accomplishments of OTHERS, in virtually all cases.
1, Yes, whites built civilization. But you can't even build a shed.
2. Yes, your city is great. But who produced all the food, materials, buildings, infrastructure, etc.? Much more down-to-earth people, probably living in rural areas.
3. Yes, your Democrat metropolis has many attractions and amenities, and produces a lot of economic output. But you can't look down on the rural "red" areas around you, because they built the city you're so proud of, continue to feed it, etc. (see #2)
4. Yes, our iPhones make us seem "superior" to those in the 1970s, 1950s, or 1800s. But do you even UNDERSTAND how an iPhone works inside, much less build one? I didn't think so. It's not like infants come out of the womb these days understanding basic electronics and software design, due to some kind of evolution that has taken place. Nope. Basic 8-bit computers will never be obsolete, because you need something simple enough to start with for beginners. And that "beginner level" will NEVER rise higher, unless you can get babies to understand logic gates and basic programming concepts fresh out of the womb. Which is obviously impossible.
The fact is that men were more advanced PERSONALLY/INDIVIDUALLY back in the 1800s. They could do more than the average Gen Z kid today. Gen Z is just borrowing/standing on the shoulders of giants. They are using things they couldn't create themselves, and don't really understand.
