  • But a person who claims he should be marrying is essentially dedicating his life to the pursuit of a complete unknown--a mysterious person who may not even exist.

Yups, that's the way I see it- in this day and age not only do you need to find a decent devout Catholic man (or woman), you need to find one that you would actually want to marry and grow old with. The odds are quite large! (or maybe i'm just too picky lol)

  • Maybe that's why God gave us the internet.    :smash-pc:

  • Yes, I found the Internet to be quite handy in such things as I now personally know several married, Catholic couples who met online--including myself, of course.

The only thing I wanted to add to the college vs. "waiting" question was that the possibility of marriage should be a factor in deciding what sort of higher education to pursue. Accuмulating the sort of debt it takes to become a doctor might not be the best course of action if you're also spending your spare time on sites like CatholicMatch in hopes that you might some day come across "Mr. Right."

  • I do very much get frustrated with how much the indissolubility of marriage is neglected these days. Of course, who wouldn't here at least a little?
