    • When a person is accustomed to the debasement of carnal vice -- sɛҳuąƖ sins, impurity -- he thinks nothing of other debasement like living under tyranny, in a communist dystopia, or debasement from things like face diapers (masks). Or putting up with all of our freedoms being taken away.

    Someone on CathInfo had a great quote to this effect. Can anyone please post it here? There are too many posts, too many members for me to find it. I neglected to save it off to my favorite immortal quotes file.

    Also, once a person becomes a slave to his passions, he loses all savor for spiritual things BUT ALSO FOR THE TRUTH. He loses his love and zeal for truth -- he just doesn't care.

    Remember, the person in question is a SERVANT OF SIN, specifically a slave to a few ounces of meat, rather than serving the Most High God. Pretty foolish and upside-down, if you ask me! If you can serve a smelly piece of meat instead of the Infinite God who is All Good, of course you can embrace falsehoods in place of truth!

    I understand why impurity is the devil's go-to favorite technique for destroying souls. It's the most powerful, the most debasing, and he can't understand the appeal, being a spirit. It must be fascinating for a spirit to see us flesh-spirit hybrids to sell our souls for a mess of pottage. To sell eternal, infinite bliss in Heaven for a few seconds of carnal pleasure.

    • Well, those powers behind everything in the world have hit people from every angle for docility.  Here are just a few.

    1) deliberate dumbing down in the education system so the sheep believe what they see on the news without critically examining it

    2) programming in the demonization of "conspiracy theory" (CIA project)

    3) fluoride in the water (Germans used them in prison camps to increase docility)

    4) give the illusion people have freedom of speech by making porn available (court have repeatedly ruled porn is free speech, so if people can get it, they believe they have free speech even while POLITICAL speech is taken away, what the Constitution was actually protecting rather than porn)

    5) people just care about their personal entertainment (so long as I can get a six-pack of beer, stream TV and movies, watch sports, etc. ... I'm content and have all I need in life and care about nothing else).  If I can buy a $10 DVD player of ROKU device at Walmart.com or Amazon, then I have all I care about in life.

    While impurity contributes to it, it's not just that.  Some poorer countries (less given to entertainment) have had the people rioting in the streets.  Even though Hungary has been very much give over to impurity, a few years back when a tape leaked of the Prime Minister admitting that he's constantly lying to the people, they nearly burnt down the Parliament building.  Hungarians have less luxury and are relatively poor compared to the U.S.
