  • "How prostitutes used to dress (the woman on the right, obviously!). I think a lot of non-prostitutes could learn from this today!

Alternatively, just being modest doesn't mean you're not a prostitute!"

If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • It must be nothing less than diabolical that this is just 50 years ago! It is truly shameful how the vast majority of "women" dress nowadays. It is beyond vulgarity... as the picture suggests even a street prostitute used to dress better. Now prostitutes and non-prostitutes are indistinguishable..

  • Wow, had you not presented the picture with the appropriate context, it would be hard to see anything wrong with it!

It's a shame how most women today have bought into the Communist and "Feminist" lies about how to dress. It's heartbreaking to see how young these girls are introduced to immodest fashions, too. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

  • It's rather disconcerting to consider that as a general rule I dress (as my husband pointed out when I showed him this image earlier today  ) pretty much like a prostitute of 56 years ago...

I hope (and fear) it says more about our society than it does about me!

It's so thoroughly heartbreaking to consider how far we have fallen, among other things, in what we teach our girls and young women.

  •   That picture is very telling.

The prostitute would be considered very modestly dressed today.  Women today wear skin tight clothes that leave nothing to the imagination.

But most women today behave worse than prostitutes.  Most women today have multiple sɛҳuąƖ partners often of the same sex!  Lots of young women are bi sɛҳuąƖ today.  Probably the most evil aspect of most women today is that their sɛҳuąƖ activity is recreational.  A prostitute from the 1960s might have been forced into it by a pimp or necessity.  She probably knew in her heart that the ideal would be to in a marriage with children and a loving husband. Today's women practice their perversions for fun.

Actually, there isn't really anything intrinsically wrong with her clothes. It was probably harder back then to find stores that were willing to sell risqué outfits. The way she carried herself, the locations she frequented, and the fact that she is hanging out alone, probably had much more to do with it. Besides, when you're that young you don't need a lot of help to be attractive.

  • How many men would be willing to marry a young lady who was totally covered up?  Even trad men think it's ok to "show a little leg".

I don't need to see her legs to know if I love her or not. Try going the traditional route... the face! Especially when she gets disappointed or frustrated, does she turn into a graceless hag or can she still look at you with care and respect? That's a keeper in my book.

I would be willing and am currently looking for such a woman, for what it's worth. Surely you don't mean covered up as "in a burka" or something similarly outrageous?

Shouldn't all (Trad) men encourage women to strive to achieve Marian standards of modesty?

If I was looking for a wife, I would be looking for such a woman.  I don't see really how young traditional catholics find each other these days.

I was Novus Ordo back when I got married, so it wasn't really a concern.

I just hope my own kids can find traditional catholic spouses who aren't "socially awkward."  I believe it is possible for a young person to be modestly dressed but still fashionable and attractive.

  • I've only seen one "trad" wedding.  The bride and bridesmaid (some were really chunky too) were all wearing strapless dresses and the groom and groomsmen were wearing lavender (I'm not joking) ties and vests.  The groom's family is very well respected as a "good Catholic family".  Why??????????

I don't believe "trads" are real Catholics.  Evidence shows them to be neo-con progressives at best.
