  • Philadelphia district attorney Seth Williams has said that he will fight to keep Msgr. William Lynn in prison, even after an appeals court reversed the priest's conviction.

Msgr. Lynn, a former vicar for clergy in the Philadelphia archdiocese, was convicted of endangering children in 2012, for having failed to inform police about child-abuse complaints. That conviction was overturned by an appeals court in 2013, then reinstated by Pennsylvania's Supreme Court in April 2015. Earlier this month another appeals court overturned the verdict on different grounds.

Williams said that he plans to appeal the latest decision, and promised to use every resource of his office to keep Msgr. Lynn behind bars. The priest has already served two years of a three-to-six year prison sentence.

  • What I would like to know is where is the archdiocese of Philadelphia in all of this? Will Mgr Lynn be a priest in good standing when he gets out of prison?

  • Child endangerment is an extraordinary failing of the New Church, but this sounds deeply vindictive.

I don't have any inside sources. In this case Mgr Lynn was the vicar of clergy. It was alleged that because he participated in the assignments of priests that he was criminally responsible for their behavior. The question is is he morally responsible for their behavior? Does the archdiocese consider him as a person responsible for any wrongdoing?

Where's the archdiocese? Helping him! They don't care, they support this and keep the pedophiles, heretics and fαɢɢօts in power! Combine that with a demented apostate wetback for a "leader" in Bergoglio and you have an apostate church criminal organization parading as a church. Were you expecting anything else? They don't do s**t, poche, they don't do s**t..

Wake up. If you can't find a TLM, go to a Divine Liturgy. Watch it online. Move. Whatever the frigg. But seriously, get out of there.
Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary...

Yes, he is morally responsible for their behavior.  He was an accomplice to their sin because he knew about and condoned it.

Before the trial, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia had a private invitation only dinner party for Chaput where priests gave standing ovation to Monsignor Lynn.
The Archdiocese would even post his bail.

May God bless you and keep you
