Bill Kaufman stated that in an interview....I would fight and support her people and the place I live. I would not fly the flag at all, would not serve in the military at all and many other things if asked.
again, will repeat, the foundations were faulty for day 1.....
..
Not under any circuмstances serve the US military or just not not fight unjust wars like those currently going on?
Surely there is a difference between the idealolgy of Americanism with its dangerous individualism and whorship of abstract freedom and the country itself?
so, you join the military and then, they send you somwhere unjust-what then? disappear? or refuse to fight and spend time in prison?
best not to join, as the prior 100+ yrs of histroy prove we have been unjust....then again, WWII we were lied into that, but can see fighting once started....
yes there is a difference, you are correct....being a good citizen is different than Americanism...but why put yourself in that boat where you either serve unjustly in military or go to prison?
many refused to fight for Geramny, some relenting once Russians hit German soil, some never served as they wanted teh evil nαzι regime to fall. Joseph Ratzinger refused to fight until drafted and never that I can recall saw combat.Oskar Werner was opposed to Hitler/nαzι and deserted as soon as he could....plus, his wife at that time was part-Jєω......
should Werner have served? are w much better now (yes, it is far more subtle than nαzι's-we hide behind propaganda, smiles and noble sounding talk)...
Recall, I served my country and did my time in the "war on crime", 4 1/2 yrs to be precise......if we truly were innocent and invaded, would do my part, including using my guns....even if we poked too many eyes, would defend myself, family and neighbors...
I am supportive or re-establishing state militias...under eht old Anglo-Saxon common law, all men were obliged to defend home/hearth, but not on military adventurism..
yes, we are to be good citizens, but to refuse to be party to evil.....
