    Quote
At Sinn Féin’s 2017 Ard Fheis (annual conference) on 18th November, members of the Party voted in favour of extending abortion access in Ireland. The vote was a total undermining of the right to life across Ireland as it would lead to ‘abortion on demand’ – a policy even more liberal than the 1967 Abortion Act in Britain.

Not only did Sinn Féin vote to extend access to abortion in Ireland, it also rejected a motion calling for members to be allowed a ‘conscience vote’ on abortion. This means that members of the party are now obliged to follow Sinn Féin’s explicitly pro-abortion stance without exclusion, rather than being permitted to adopt their own conscientious stance on abortion, which would allow members to follow their own moral and ethical pro-life convictions.

The abortion policy was supported by Sinn Féin northern leader Michelle O’Neill, who said she would “accept abortion in certain, limited cases.”
But there is no such thing as ‘limited’ abortion.
In Britain, the 1967 Abortion Act was introduced initially under ‘limited grounds.’  Now, 50 years later, 9 million unborn children have been killed under the1967 Act. An estimated one in three pregnancies in Britain now end in abortion.
It’s clear that a vote for Sinn Féin is a vote for abortion-on-demand across the island of Ireland. Sinn Féin’s abortion policy goes even beyond the 1967 Abortion Act. Their policy permits abortion on demand, for any reason, at any stage of pregnancy right up to birth.
Precious Life has for many years exposed Sinn Féin’s pro-abortion stance. We exposed their Policy Docuмent “Women in Ireland” released way back in 1999, in which the Party said, “We endorse the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) Charter on sɛҳuąƖ and Reproductive Rights”. No other organisation has done more to spread abortion throughout the world than the International Planned Parenthood Federation. (Planned Parenthood has also been exposed selling body parts of aborted babies on the black market. If abortion-on-demand was introduced into Ireland, then Planned Parenthood’s horrific commercial exploitation of aborted babies could happen here. See the undercover videos that exposed Planned Parenthood here.)
During our numerous ‘Vote for Life’ Campaigns over the years, we were accused of misrepresenting Sinn Féin’s stance when we said they were a “pro-abortion Party.” But now, even veteran Sinn Féin republican – Francie Molloy - has spoken out against this latest Ard Fheis motion, saying that it would legitimise abortion on demand, and he did not support what he labelled his Party’s "more pro-abortion" stance.
The success of our Vote for Life Campaigns was highlighted when he said, “I'm an elected MP for Mid Ulster. I represent the opinions that are given to me on the doors and that's why I've taken my present position.”
Sinn Féin can no longer be allowed to hoodwink the people of Ireland. Michelle O’Neill is still insisting that they will tell constituents on the doorsteps that Sinn Féin “isn’t in favour of abortion”. They plan to continue deceiving you - the voter.
Our elected representatives must cherish every child equally. They must seek real progress by rejecting abortion and embracing real alternatives for mothers and babies – life-affirming alternatives that will ‘love them both’.
    ! TAKE ACTION !
    Contact your Sinn Féin Representatives

    • Tell them you are totally opposed to Sinn Féin’s abortion policy, and their campaign to legalise abortion is not done in your name as an Irish man or woman

    • Tell them you want ALL the children of the nation cherished equally – as stated in the 1916 Easter Proclamation
    • Tell them you want Sinn Féin to stop deceiving their constituents by claiming the Party “isn’t in favour of abortion” while supporting abortion-on-demand
    • Tell them you will vote in future elections only for candidates who uphold the right to life of unborn children
    • Tell them you want both mothers and babies protected from abortion by being given life-affirming options in crisis pregnancies
