They are family.
Do not disrespect them.
Keep your opinions to yourself.
BE respectful
Be RESPECTFUL
BE RESPECTFUL
Eat a big slice of humble pie and get off your high horse.

Read the beatitudes and live them.

So either you move with them or they won't communicate with you? They are wrong to use your relationship as a bargaining chip. I'm sorry TG, that is no way to treat your grandchild.

Do you have problems getting along with your grandparents. My parents are Obama supporters and hopelessly liberal to the point where I think their political views are sinful. We get along because we don't talk about politics. I pray for them but I don't argue with them because I don't think it would do any good. So my parents watch MSNBC and I go to Cathinfo.

Beautifully said, Marsha.

Matto, yes, that's how we have to get along.  The old adage - 'never talk politics or religion' comes to mind.

Trad Guy - you GUESS that's why he believes the nonsense?!  Have you ever sat down & LISTENED to them explain exactly WHY  they think as they do?  I still think you need to listen more & talk  less.   Have you ever asked if you could help them with something?   It could be as simple as changing a light bulb that's so high you need a step stool or a ladder.  Have you ever done an unexpected kindness for them without expecting anything in return?    Are you as brash with them as you are on here?  Forget about what they do with their money.  It's here today & gone tomorrow.  Who cares?

So tell us more about this business that they're forcing you to change your views or they won't communicate with you - I'm presuming after they move.  btw - how far away are they moving?

I disagree.
Trad guy 20 you need to lay down the law and tell it like it is.
Feelings be damned. Tell it straight up. Unless they believe in what is necessary for salvation and live as they should they are going to hell.
Money wont mean anything in the next life. Everytime they contradict the faith they drag themselves to hell. You must care for their souls and warn them, and if they don't convert, cut them off until they do. To hell with familial sentimentalism. They need to stop outraging the truth.
Tell it like it is DaW6.
