Title: Is this video AI?

I came across this video which just felt off. If you are younger then you will know what I mean. AI videos feel off.

I am 98 percent sure this is AI but I would like confirmation from someone who knows these SSPX priests. At the 1:00 mark the sizes look way off and when I compared it to the actual photos from Sunday the 26th of October 2025. The people at the front matched up with the video, the priest at the end matched up with the video, but the two other priests in front of him didn't. Look at the image below and compare it to 1:13 in the video.

Does the video look right to you?

I hope to be corrected and told that I am mixing up the dates or something.

Not AI.

The max generation time for the current models is around 5-8 seconds before coherency is lost. The details of the vestments, the movement of the cassocks, the consistency of the crowd and background are too good to be artificial. More likely, the there's an issue with the encoding and frame rate of the video that gives it a slightly choppy/slow-motion look to it. It might also have been recorded with a variable frame rate due to the low light in the chapel.

What they release to the public is always behind what they have. But that does sound plausible. Yes I probably jumped to conclusions too soon here.

I also made a mistake by saying 1:13 in the OP but if you look at 1:30 then it is perfectly fine. My fault.

I bet that's true. There are some open source models out there that are nearly as good as the public commercial offerings, but there's usually a hardware limitation on the user's end.

I don't think we're to the point of deception yet that they would focus on such a niche group; faking Pope Leo XIV or other high-ranking officials, perhaps.
