  • Antipope John Paul II did more to destroy Catholicism than any other man, apart from Antipope Paul VI.

Antipope Benedict XVI may do more evil than either of those. It is too early to tell.

    Read the Douay-Rheims Bible.
Read the Catechism of the Council of Trent.
Read the lives of the Saints.

Do NOT read anything by these damnable men who have spent their lives destroying truth and holiness.
JPII loathed Catholicism with an intense malice.

Reading one bad book could cost you your soul.

These Antipopes are incredibly evil. Forget Luther, or anyone else.
These Antipopes have tried to eradicate Catholicism. Our Lord has assured us that our glorious Catholic Church will prevail. But these men have certainly done incredible damage with their fierce and satanic evil.

Do not spend eternity in Hell because of a satanic, evil Antipope.
    JPII deprived you of Catholicism.
Do not let him also deprive you of Heaven.

Francis is an Antipope. Pray that God will grant us a good Pope and save the Church.
I abjure and retract my schismatic support of the evil CMRI.Thuc condemned the Thuc nonbishops
"Now, therefore, we declare, say, determine and pronounce that for every human creature it is necessary for salvation to be subject to the authority of the Roman Pontiff"-Pope Boniface VIII.
If you think Francis is Pope,do you treat him like an Antipope?

  • Sede Catholic is absolutely right!

And on a literary scale, JPII's writing is almost like gibberish.

  • Why is this such a bad thing to read? I just don't get it.

Doesn't anti-pope mean someone who is not a pope? I mean, JP2 was a pope after all (even if you dislike him).

  • Ingenting,
You are correct that an antipope is not a real Pope. John Paul II was an Antipope.
John Paul II was an evil man filled with malice towards our Catholic Faith.
He spent his “pontificate” trying to destroy Catholicism.
That is why the good Catholics on this Forum condemn him, in varying degrees according to the level of understanding that they choose to have of the situation in the Church.

The alleged "popes" in the Vatican since A.D. 1958 have pretended to be Catholics.
They have caused incredible damage to our beloved Catholic Church.

Sedes are Catholics who will not compromise about the Faith.
    I am a Sede.
I will never give false obedience to these servants of the devil.

I hope that more Catholics will jettison human respect, and the convenience of a near-by chapel and embrace the obvious truth: that an invalidly elected heretic, who was determined to destroy the Catholic Church was never a true Pope.
John Paul II deceived the world with his satanically-inspired mastery of the media.
But he was not holy. He was evil.

Antipope Benedict XVI is also an evil man who pretends to be Catholic.
Benedict XVI also seeks to destroy the Catholic Faith. Just read his books. He wants to turn everyone against the Catholic Faith. He is not just a poor theologian. He is a man of glittering evil. He is a man of satanic malevolence.

Catholics should not read these evil men’s books.
To read them, is to imperil your salvation.

Read the Douay-Rheims Bible and the Catechism of the Council of Trent.
Contact the CMRI for valid Catholic Masses.
    Try to accept the truth.
Catholics who are Sedes reject the invalid new “mass” and the heresy of the last 50 years, and these evil antipopes.

Sedes are the Catholics who are maintaining the Faith in all of its glorious purity.

Francis is an Antipope. Pray that God will grant us a good Pope and save the Church.
I abjure and retract my schismatic support of the evil CMRI.Thuc condemned the Thuc nonbishops

  • I have realized that in my second post in this thread, I actually mistakenly advocated reading the heretical books of Antipope Benedict XVI.
So that part of my advice should only be taken rhetorically.
Do NOT read the evil writings of John Paul II or Benedict XVI.
Obviously, it would be a sin to actually read the writings of men who are so heretical and evil.
Only read sound Catholic religious writers.  Those of former centuries are safe to read.

Francis is an Antipope. Pray that God will grant us a good Pope and save the Church.

Because JPII's books aren't Catholic, and quite frankly, neither was he. By reading his books, you risk having your mind indoctrinated with modernism. Please don't read anymore of that book.

  • Even if one does not believe that John Paul II is an Anti-Pope, it is still a bad idea to read his books. John Paul II was a phenomenologist and a believer in the Hegelian dialectic.

For the phenomenologist, "truth" is not an objective reality defined by God, but rather something that is defined by the subjective consciousness of the observer.  As such, it is an incredibly dangerous idea, and while not formally heretical is certainly opposed to Catholic philosophy.

It's not "formally" heretical because all of the bishops are heretical also, so who is going to say it's heretical? Everything that you wrote above also applies to Benedict XVI, whom the accordistas are wanting to "go home to".

If after I've explained all of the above (what you wrote and I added), if anyone insists on reading JPII or B16, , I just let them do it. At the end of paying for the book and reading it, they'll find out that they are more confused that when they started, and poorer.

For those who are not really Catholics, the main reason not to read JPII or B16 is because it's a waste of time, they don't say anything clearly. I think God has something to do with that.

Oh man, I thought I was the only one. I tried reading his book "The Way to Christ" once, and I had no idea what the hell he was talking about.

  • There is something in modernist books that drive Good Catholics
away in not reading the books because of the dangers to the Faith.
