    Just like it takes more Charity/love to endure torture than to endure bumper-to-bumper traffic, likewise it takes less malice or hatred to hastily call someone a 4-letter word in the heat of an argument than it does to think up a slander and utter it with all earnestness.

    I don't know, given I've been a regular member here for 2 years, posted tons of my unique threads and am a "Hero" member kind of tells me I'm no longer a newbie.

    But, as I've said many times already, you've decided to attack a caricature of myself and others to boost your ego. So, all I can say is I'll continue to pray for you and hope you respond to the grace.

    Sometimes the unadorned truth is "insulting."

    Even Meg herself just acknowledged her "big mouth," her emotionalism, and obstinacy ("won't").

    When the things she recognizes and admits in herself are reflected back at her, she is "insulted."

    Since she dishes it out by the truckload, she can bloody well take it.… or choose to play victim.… or whatever.

    So tiring.

    How do I apologize for the truth?

    I am reminded of a comment made by former California State Senator Ross Johnson. During a campaign he called his opponent a political whore. His opponent demanded an apology, so Johnson scheduled a press conference for the next day. At the press conference, Ross said, "I am sorry he's a political whore."

    That was a treasured moment. His opponent was apoplectic.

    How about instituting a Cathinfo  "Micro-ban",

    Set the post configurations to where Mark and Meg can't use each other's names in post.

    Like Sr. Mary Oda once said: "It's good to separate those two in the classroom."

    You clearly do not understand Matthew's style or principles of moderating CI.  That said, he told you to "put up or shut up" and you did neither; you just offered some lame nonsense, seeking to garner sympathy for vicious attacks, etc. 

    I have been working far too much to have followed even 5% of the recent shenanigans about pot/weed/herb/ganja/etc, but it is clear one side has had its proverbial ass handed to it.  Take a guess as to which side that is.

    FWIW, you made a post (or two) that made me worry a bit about your faith.  I gave a lengthy, sincere reply to the one wherein you postulated that "Tradition only exists in the mind."  Kant, anyone?  Please read it if you have not.  Godspeed.
