  • Is anyone here from Spain?

Does Spain still consider herself to be a Catholic country?  I've been told that Catholicism is still taught in the schools but this is 3rd or 4th hand information.  I realize it would be NO but I'm curious if they are still doing that.

Also wondering if non-Catholics are "taxed"?

  • The only thing I know about Spain that today it is far far less Catholic
than at the time of Franco. At lease at the time of Franco, the Church
was recognized and the Catholic Church were the only ones that
had rights.  Thanks to Vatican 2, and religious liberty. all that has
    changed.
They allow protestants to preach and spread their false gospels.
They also have a very heavy Islamic immigration that will make
Spain a majority Muslim country in less that 40 years.
Now in Spain, if you are against further Muslim immigration,
you have to keep quite about it, or risk going to jail.
