In South America her look is is quite common, a dime a dozen. She is not ugly.
I once was with an Argentine client, 100% of European extraction, we were in a night club in Chicago, and he went gaga over an American black women who was dark skinned, wide nose, big lipped, and big waist and fat buttocks. To him she was exotic looking because there are no black people in Argentina. To each his own. To me she was as common as park pigeons. The same happened with a friend of mine that had an American Indian he was living with. She was overweight and looked like 80% of the women in say Guatemala. To me she was a dime a dozen in South America. By the same logic, I guarantee you that many men in the USA consider AOC to be exotic, the same for Englishmen, Irish, Germans, Swedes....
Personally I like blondes because they are not common where I come from, I am a Spaniard.

My wife has blonde hair and blue-grey eyes, and so does my son.

Oh now, now! If she were a trad Catholic, she'd be quite the catch. A toothy smile can be endearing if it is decent and natural... or it can be asking to be kicked in if the wrong spirit is behind it. I'm always impressed at how much the face changes depending on the expression and the personality. She has a whole catalogue of insistent and arrogant looks combining overly wide eyes and goofy grins. It's as if the face is straining to reflect the twisted soul inside. No, she is ugly for all the right reasons: who she is and what she stands for.
Pretty is a perfect word for women without glaring physical flaws: they can be pretty good or they can be pretty bad. I think we can all guess which one is more prevalent nowadays.

Did you ever participate on the old Angelqueen forum? Probably not.
It was a forum that went belly-up some time ago, but it was run by an adherent of the SSPX, and many of the forum members were SSPX. That was before 2012. That forum made A LOT of fun of political figures and Modernists; especially Modernists. That was one of the good things about that forum. You no doubt would have been appalled at the jokes made about the Modernists and Liberals.
We may, however, be fast approaching a time when it will be dangerous to make fun of liberals. But until then.....

Seriously, I think she’s fairly attractive if you’re asking only for physical appearance. As was earlier pointed out, beauty is very much cultural and personal opinion, also, how much does the individual go by the fad of the times?

My brother once told me he thought Catherine Zeta Jones was ‘ugly’. I was surprised by this because, for the most part, her face is symmetrical and she puts herself together well, but not overly so.
What more could she do? Well nothing. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and no one gets a score of 100% from everyone.
And as far as AOC is concerned she is a misguided, lost soul. We should pray for her conversion.

All I meant, was that if you think her mouth looks bad now, you should have seen it before she had the dental work done. This is very common for children, and orthodontists make a small fortune, exploiting the American wish for perfect teeth and perfect everything. But clearly it was needed in the case of Miss Ocasio, unless one is going to go with a totally organic mentality of "live with whatever imperfections you have, regardless of how horrible they are".

Yes, but they also put the greatest repentant sinners in monasteries to do penance and make up for their sins. A hospital for sinners, not merely a hotel for the perfect. Traditionally monasteries were both.

After looking up Catherine Zeta Jones, I found she is an actress. The face in the "Images" section of the internet didn't ring any bells so I looked up what movies or television shows she's been in. I think I've seen two of the movies but she must not have made much of an impression since she still didn't look familiar.
Neither Jones or Cortez are particularly pretty nor would I describe either as ugly. They are both fairly average. But, as andy noted above, see how they look as they age. I doubt either of these women would be particularly attractive to most men without the tons of make-up that is obviously applied to their faces.

I met quite a few movie star females in my life, and none was what they appeared to be on the screen. I've known or seen thousands of MUCH prettier girls in my life.
