  • I continue to boycott businesses that supported the Yes to abortion campaign. Local pro life groups have lists. As a tour guide I research who is who. If visiting Ireland do know the places to avoid. Only yesterday I emailed a festival and explained why I wouldn't attend. Support the small businesses who support you.

I am in two minds about shunning family who voted Yes. My immediate family. Parents and sister voted NO as did my friends. A few cousins, who I only see at Christmas I am not sure about.

Same with some Uncles and Aunts. Most acquaintances were No voters.

You read from time to time that some people regret voting Yes but I have yet to see evidence.

  • I am organising a fight back with small groups in mind. Those out on the battle field anticipating thousands of reinforcements to appear on the horizon are in for a big surprise. Where are the reinforcements? They don't exist.

I can't see anything other than small groups resisting. Many are very upset since the referendum. Important to regroup and these young people coming up the line are excellent. We need to keep encouraging them though.

  • Doubt it'll cause much damage. Ophelia was worse.

  • A new Facebook page. Do offer them feedback.

    Examining Minister hαɾɾιs' Abortion Bill

    Quote
We are a group of young people, from various areas of expertise - Doctors, Nurses, Medical Students, Law Students, Solicitors, Midwives, Scientists, Science Students, Human Rights Students, Etc.

Some of us voted 'Yes' and some of us voted 'No' in the referendum held on May 25th 2018 which repealed the 8th Amendment and replaced it with the 36th Amendment to the Constitution.

We are united under one belief - Minister Simon hαɾɾιs' Bill (Termination of Pregnancy Bill, 2018) goes much too far.
We believe that this Bill needs to be amended. We will be campaigning, from this Facebook page for such amendments. We intend to expose, to the public, the extremity of this Bill by quoting and commenting on it.
The bill itself is here https://health.gov.ie/blog/publications/updated-general-scheme-of-the-health-regulation-of-termination-of-pregnancy-bill-2018/

  • Doctors for life Ireland

Important not to forget others such as the hospital porter and even the postman. Abortion has an impact on more people than you might think. Hopefully regional pro life groups are active. Joe Scheidler has a good book on tactics and strategy.

If we have been idle since the referendum we have only ourselves to blame if abortion takes a grip on Ireland. We have the rosary crusade events next month.

  • The lack of leadership in the larger pro life groups and the silence of the  pro-life politicians is disconcerting as we go forward. We must commend the unsung heroes. Many wonder will the pro-life leaders get their act together. People are wondering what to do next. There is a danger of people becoming demoralised.

  • I haven't met Joanna Jordan nor was I able to get to Dublin during her campaign in the courts. A few and I mean a few gave her publicity. She has announced this on Twitter where she like many communicates with the modern world. Many here in Ireland call Leinster House the 'devil's house'. Joanna took a legal challenge to abortion referendum which saved lives. She received no support from the Bishops or the large pro-life groups.

"PRAYER: All are welcome to join me in prayer outside Leinster House, Kildare St. entrance, from  6pm to 6.30 pm, Wednesday the 17th of October. God Bless Joanna"

'PRAYER: Tomorrow at 6pm Leinster House. Catholics bring a rosary beads and blessed objects on you. Receive Holy Communion worthly on the day. Other Christians, bring your bible. God Bless everyone who reads this. Joanna'

  • This event is also taking place tomorrow at Leinster house.

    https://www.facebook.com/prolifecampaignireland
"We must not abandon GPs, nurses, midwives, pharmacists and others healthcare workers as the Government coerces them to be involved in abortions that have nothing whatsoever to do with genuine healthcare. JOIN US in standing in solidarity with healthcare workers outside the Dáil this Wednesday from 6.30-7.30pm. Some of the healthcare workers will address the gathering. This is an extremely important event. Please make an extra special effort to be there."

  • I got to pray the rosary the other night with Joanna Jordan and others outside the 'devil's house' in Dublin.

Whilst on the subject of prayer this was posted on Facebook

"Abortion isn't quite here yet. A 9 day fast on bread and water is being organised by Human Life International from November 6th (feast all saints of Ireland) to November 14th. Phone 094 937 5993 Monday to Friday 9-5pm, if you can do it, even if only for a few days. Some demons can only be banished with prayer AND fasting Mark 9, 29. They need 300 volunteers across Ireland. Praise the Lord"

  • A quote here from the late Caoimhin Mac Cathmhaoil. He was an Irish republican aligned with *Republican Sinn Fein. He also stated the Irish republican movement is distributist and not socialist.

When they were trying to open a 'family planning clinic' in Galway back in the 1970s he and Deirdre Manifold and others were at the forefront against it. He had this to say.

" ‘I stand by Humanae Vitae instead of ideas imported from abroad—family planning is based on a philosophy of violence, it is anti-human and linked with abortion’."

*Republican Sinn Fein are a different organisation to the party that was led by Gerry Adams until recently.

  • An update from Joanna Jordan. She is getting very little support.

    @JoannaJ_Ireland
'REFERENDUM CHALLENGE EUROPE: Go fund Me say it will take 3 - 7 working days for the refunds to be issued. God Bless Joanna'

'REFERENDUM CHALLENGE EUROPE: Twitter shadow blocked me when I put up the GoFunfMe call for funding after 12 hours. Go Fund Me made it impossible to withdraw the 100 euros that were donated. God Bless Joanna'
'REFERENDUM CHALLENGE EUROPE: I have just closed down the GoFundMe account. They made it impossible for me to draw down the donations. The 5 people who made donations should get their money back in time. God Bless Joanna'
