  • You know what is that...
I could refute that many claims against this symbol, but this one is tough...
There are the ones who claim that "iota eta sigma" doesn't denote the first three letters of Jesus in Greek, but it's a symbol of Bacchus in Phoenician. Can you show me anything on the contrary?
And one other thing: when did the name Jesus appear? When the Septuagint was translated?

Stop it already. "Those who claim" are the enemies of the Church and enemies of Jesus Christ.

Someone in error who believes wrong ideas about the nature of God and the Church is one thing.

Someone who is actively seeking to destroy the Church is an execrable demon in human flesh and not worth the time or effort it would take to read and refute their garbage.

You've already said you were serious about saving your soul, but now you're bringing up these heresies again.

You're tempting God. Keep playing next to a rattlesnake den and see what happens. The first chapter of the Epistle to the Romans says that God gives people over to a deranged mind if they won't leave sin and sinful company alone.

Stop asking how to refute nonsense that has never been taught by Holy Church and start reading things that will BUILD your faith.

St. Anthony of Padua, hammer of heretics, terror of Hell, pray for us.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar
