While I like the look of the Ford Transit, I've had nothing but trouble with Fords. I think that they're junk. I have the smaller Kia SUV that I bought with 19K miles on it, and it now has 220K, still running strong, without anything other than routine work (and an alternator) that has EVER needed to be done to it. Meanwhile, the Ford Expedition that my wife uses has 150K miles on it but needs to have something fixed at least once every 6 weeks. So I would be inclined to try the Nissan over the Ford.
I agree. We have the Sedona and love it. I had a Transit Connect I bought new, with hesitation. At 13k miles it had a faulty throttle body. Sad. I sold it as soon as I could and got a Tacoma. American cars are junk now, sadly. Their companies have no vision. Ford is getting rid of almost all their cars and sticking to SUV's and Pickups. Can you imagine the hit they're going to take when gas goes back up and they have to re-tool machines to make cars again?
