I've finally, this year, begun wearing a veil to Mass. Unfortunately, it's still a Novus Ordo Mass ... and we're stuck in this parish for the unforseeable future.

My daughter and I are the only ones who wear head coverings except the occasional elderly woman who wears a hat (but hats are mostly about the winter weather here anyway).

If someone gets the nerve up to ask me why we are wearing veils, I'd sure like to have a small pamphlet or something to give to them that explains it succinctly.

Does anyone know of an online retailer, or site that sells something like this?

Mrs. Z, no. But what do you need a pamphlet for? Just tell them the truth. I'm sure it will be more than they can bear, and they'll think that you are hopelessly lost, but who knows?

Mrs. Z, just say you are really trying to take your Faith more seriously these days and you think chapel veils are beautiful.

It doesn't need to be heavy at all, just sweet and friendly. Veils are so pretty, just assume you and your sweet daughter are being complimented for your modest beauty.
