I wish I could remember the names within this story told to me by the good nuns, when I attended Catholic school.
Seems it was a soldier who always wore his rosary hung around his belt, hanging at his hip,( if I can remember correctly) but he seldom prayed it. Anyway when he died, Our Lady spoke on his behalf, saying to his judge, her Son, words ... "Please Son, true he did not pray his rosary as he should have, see I will show you all the prayers that were prayed through the rosary, because of his example of people seeing the rosary on his person".
I read a similar story Myrna. The one I read the soilder wore the rosary either around his neck or in his breast pocket. He was shot and the bullet bounced off his rosary and did minimal damage to him.
I wonder how many no sayers in this thread are men? As a woman not all my clothing has pockets. I wear my rosary in a small bag around my neck. The weight of the rosary is a constant reminder throughout the day of Our Lady.
