  • Sometimes I fall into a crisis of faith. But sadly, there are no Tradcat priests where I live, and the nearest priest is in the capital. So when I get into a crisis of faith, I post it on the forum.
But sadly, some have became fed up with this. So I'd like to find a Tradcat priest or counselor, but where? I live in northeast Hungary. I'm too afraid to give other details.
Can you recommend me a Tradcat priest of counselor nearby? Or if there isn't any, can I go to a Novus Ordo priest for counsel?

All I can advise you is to pray for to your Guardian Angel and abandon yourself entirely to works of devotion, penance, spiritual and corporal mercy (as circuмstances allow), spiritual reading, mental prayer, &c.

If you are persevering and instant enough in prayer, God in His Providence will send someone to you.

The Month of the Holy Rosary is approaching, so here is an example of how God sends His Priests to those who need them and pray for them (begins in the middle of page 222), from The Litany of Loreto by Rev. Fr. Richard Klaver (St. Louis, MO: B. Herder Book Co., 1954):

Please ignore all that I have written regarding sedevacantism.

  • Look at your options, where I live it is possible to find an old priest, who still believes the Cathol. Faith, sometimes in his 90s to give advice and hear confessions. There are priests who are old and still within the NO structure who are hidden and tucked away, but if you look hard, they can be found.

  • Never mind all this "I have a crisis of faith" nonsense.

I don't want to sound uncharitable, but you're NOT having a crisis of faith.

A CRISIS of FAITH is when you are believing and PRACTICING WHAT YOU BELIEVE, and yet struggles and circuмstances make it seem as though you're not making it, or you're wasting your time.

What you do fairly regularly on here is act totally counter to the Faith by going and reading stupid garbage webpages that you ALREADY KNOW ARE FORBIDDEN FOR CATHOLICS TO READ. These idiotic pages are promoting Satanic pagan religions and all sorts of spiritually DANGEROUS trash.

You're looking to stir up trouble because you're asking other Catholics to look at these things.

REALITY CHECK: If something wasn't promulgated by Holy Church according to Her immemorial TRADITION, it is FORBIDDEN FOR CATHOLICS TO READ OR HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH.

FORBIDDEN means don't ask a Catholic to look at it, read it, figure it out, disprove it or argue against it.

Our Mother the Church didn't SAY IT, so it is FALSE DEMONIC FILTH. End of story.

Would you ask a fellow Catholic to look at pornography with you? Would you take a fellow Catholic to a place of gutter morality (or absence of any morality) because you were having a "crisis"?

A crisis is when you're ABOUT to do something and you cry out for help. A crisis is when you've committed a sin and now you're repentant and you ask for prayer and the counsel of a priest.

Stop lying to the people on this board. You say the nearest priest is far from you. Have these priests no EMAIL? How about TELEPHONES? Are there no CARS, TRAINS, BUSES or TAXIS anywhere near you?

What if you needed to go to an EMERGENCY ROOM and it was far away? Would you not FIND a way to get there? Find someone to help you get there?

No, you're acting like a drug addict who is taking their drugs, getting messed up and then saying "here; take this drug and see if you can stay sober and unaffected by it."

The "illegal drug" of the Catholic is NON-CATHOLIC FALSE RELIGION. Writings, movies, whatever they are.

You are being disingenuous when you say you're having a crisis. That's bull.

You're going to these websites, reading them thoroughly enough to bring your so-called faith into question, and then asking Catholics who are working on their salvation to interact with devilish, soul-damning crap.

Knock off the "poor me" routine. You've been told time and again NOT TO GO TO THOSE STUPID SITES. You're bringing your fake "crisis" on yourself.

    STOP. STOP. STOP.

GO SEE A PRIEST. WALK IF YOU HAVE TO.

What priest, if you called them and had a true crisis, wouldn't HELP you get to them, or come to you? I find it impossible to believe that a true shepherd of Christ's flock would not make EVERY effort to fight for your soul.

Every time you bring up another one of those threads, or you answer to them in ANY way except to go see a priest, I will continue to publicly call for you to be banned from here. You are endangering the souls of others by advertising that trash.

    St. Michael, Archangel, defend us.

St. Anthony of Padua, hammer of heretics, terror of Hell, pray for us.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar

  • Stephen Francis just offered you some solid advice, Pelly. You'd do well to take it, assuming you're not a troll. Your obstinate refusal to quit reading trash really makes me wonder.
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

  • I think I'm too easy to manipulate and in turn I rely too much on rationality.
I'm considering talking to a NO priest if there are no Trad priests nearby.

  • Remember Pelly is a teenager without the benefit of being raised by trads.

Stephen Francis telling her to walk if you have to? You have daughters and should know better than to talk to a young woman like that. She has posted before about the difficulties and expense of traveling, that her mother is unemployed. Secondly it's not advisable for any young woman to travel alone.

  • Tiffany, please calm down. You're entirely too reactionary.

I said "walk if you have to" as hyperbole; it's patently ridiculous for a person who says they are in such terrible crises of faith to not make sacrificial effort to reach a priest.

I suggested email and phone; why didn't you yell at me because "MAYBE SHE DOESN'T HAVE A PHONE!!!!!"?

As I've said before, you don't go to the trouble of making links to those filthy garbage websites if you don't intend for others to read what's there.

Reading that trash is useless and is FORBIDDEN TO CATHOLICS.

You're not a priest, a Bishop or a religious. You have no charism whereby you could go and read those things and be able to answer and refute them without danger to your soul.

Pelly surely knows that knives are dangerous; does she stab herself numerous times and then ask if we can check to see if the knife is sharp? Perhaps we could test the knife by cutting ourselves next.

Pelly, the moderators of this forum attend a traditional chapel. Lots of people here do.

Why haven't you been on the phone already with a priest? Never mind whether the priest was in your area or not. Wouldn't you call a doctor if you needed to be diagnosed? Wouldn't these other priests help you with your issues AND help you make contact with clergy in your area?

No, there are no threads full of all of THOSE things you've done; instead we have thread after thread of "sabbatarian" crap and Benjamin Creme and all this other hellish sewage.

You lost your faith because of "sabbatarians"? I call voluminous amounts of bull-product.

There were never "sabbatarians" in the Bible. Neither in Church history. This "sabbatarian" vomit is nothing more than modernist individual interpretation/distortion of Scripture run totally wild.

You were looking for reasons to be convinced by arguments because like so many young women today, you weren't raised to be obedient and shame-faced and modest like Scripture and the Church teach. You want to "belong", and submitting to the authority of Holy Church runs contrary to "belonging" to society. Society says that all these different belief systems are out there and that what ultimately matters is what "speaks to you".

That's why you "lost your faith"; you've bought into the stupid and worthless idea that the Church and Her teachings are just some of many in a humanistic "marketplace of ideas" and that maybe some of these other ideas have merit.

Start by recognizing that NONE of that crap would even have a leg to stand on if they didn't have the standard of Catholic orthodoxy to measure themselves against.

Then realize that none of this bull-crap even existed as possibly "valid" until after the printing press and the Protestant toilet-explosion of heresy and damnable demonic imagination.

Go have a good sniffle in gratitude for Tiffany's brave, bold stand in your defense, and then drop whatever else you were doing and get to a priest.

Enough already with this "poor little girl" routine. Any teenager/young adult in today's society has more communication, transportation and information resources at their disposal than our generation did by dozens of times over.

People can go out of their way to get to a concert, or a job of work, or a college, or anything else that's so CRITICAL to get to, but as soon as Pelly gets scolded for playing around with spiritually-DAMNING demonic rantings of the hell-bound pagans of the world, she's all of a sudden a defenseless waif who can't find her bedroom from her bathroom without three maps and a total stranger patting her hand and saying "there, there, poor baby".
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar

Many teenagers are in a similar situation to Pelly, but that doesn't force them to come around here and publicly wallow in filth, as Pelly consistently does. It's not that she hasn't been warned about such behaviour. I have personally told her many times. Many others have told her repeatedly. She never acknowleges all the good advice she gets. Did she thank the kindly Hobbledehoy for his helptul post? Talking to her is like talking to a wall. She is entirely unresponsive.

I do not believe that she is a 15 year old girl.

Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

No matter how old she/he is, spiritual direction would be good for this person.
