  • Many if not most Protestants, every time they attempt to post scripture verses they feel the need to let everyone know they are posting form the King James version by putting “(KJV)” or “King James” after what they consider to be their Bible scripture.

Most of us Traditional Catholics on Cathinfo don't go out of our way to let everyone know when we are posting form the Douay Rheims Bible. We Traditional Catholics are confident we have the truth; we don't always need to let the world when we are posting from the Douay Rheims Bible.

A lot of non-church going non-denominational Protestants use the KJV.  It's what they grew up with.

It is because Protestants, in general, accept a variety of English bible translations.  For Catholics, on the other hand, there is only one accepted English bible translation.  Protestants may by quoting from any one of a vast array of translations and should identify which translation they used.  Catholics should only be quoting from the Douay-Rheims.

But the real question is, what on earth is a Catholic doing on "Protestant forums"?

I have been debating Protestants to expose their heresies.

It usually doesn't take long before I am banned.

The last question I asked on the last Protestant forum I was on before being banned was refused to be answered. This was my question, "Where does a Heretic go after Gods judgment?" I thought it was funny how uncomfortable this question made them feel.
