Did you have to buy new furniture later? Was there anything that you parted with that was really difficult to part with?

Well, I was only in an apartment for a few months before I entered the Seminary, so most of my furniture I gave to my folks. I didn't have much though.
I didn't find it that hard, because I was excited about my new life. I am very thorough, so I wanted to divest myself of EVERYTHING unnecessary -- so I'm sure there were a few things that took more effort. I can't really think of any offhand though. Perhaps some of my music CDs?
I even got rid of all my CDRs (computer backups -- all my computer data), so I don't have much evidence that I was alive before 2003 or thereabouts :)
The one thing I was kind of sad about was that I destroyed all copies of the source code to a game I spent 9 months working on with my cousin. I kind of wish I had that sometimes, for nostalgia's sake.
