    You have serious issues.

Just going by this one post, I can tell you that you have at least one sin to be sorry for. And keep in mind that God is infinite goodness, and that ANY offense against an infinite God is an infinite offense.

You could offer the whole world, and it wouldn't make up for ONE VENIAL SIN you committed. Nevermind a mortal sin!

Your post sounds like the whining of a 4 year old child that knows nothing of wisdom or the reasons for their parents' rules.

  • Joking?  English not your first language?  God doesn't 'get away' with anything, and whatever help we get from Him is undeserved.  'Rude' to you?  Get real.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • Giving you the benefit of the doubt here, and assuming you are not spamming:

    1. You said: "The thing is, when God does something dumb eg not helping me He always gets away with it. "

-Reply: God does nothing dumb.  You and I are dumb. We do dumb things to ourselves and eachother. If you are Catholic, you believe God is Perfect, how can he be dumb. (Hint- He cannot.) Please go to confession. He cannot get away with anything; he would need to err first, which he cannot (since he's perfect).

    2. You said, "I think God should tell me sorry for being rude to me. How do you even manage to say the Confiteor?"

-Reply: Please repent for this. Even if said in jest, we ought not mock God. He is all Good and all Loving.  We say the confiteor by meditating on these facts (that God is perfect, we are nothing (and less than that)) without him.

Take a breath. Say some Hail Mary's. Ask God's forgiveness when you have done this. Seek out a priest immediately, and ask him to go to the confessional to confess and speak about these matters. I will say some prayers for you now.

  • Sorry if I was too harsh in my original reply.  What S2srea said.

  • I can only say the Confiteor by picking up a prayer book and reading it because, for the life of me, I can't memorize the words.

The prayer is our confession to Our Lord.  I didn't read any clause in it where we demanded anything from Him.  Even the absolution part is our request.

Maybe you should write a prayer called "I Demand" - now go find out what that means in Latin and you'll have a cool name for your prayer.

If, by chance, you are truly being serious then take this anger with you into the confessional and even the prayer for when a Blasphemy occurs - i.e., - what you did in your original post.

God's trials sent our way are for our betterment and even chastisement, which should be seen as a sign of God's Love because He is punishing us some in the here and now and not saving it all and letting us carry on foolishly to the point where we join the damned.

    Dear fellow human beings,
Confiteor makes me upset. I know I am supposed to say that I'm sorry for my evilness. The thing is, when God does something dumb eg not helping me He always gets away with it. I think God should tell me sorry for being rude to me. How do you even manage to say the Confiteor?

    Surely you aren't serious.

God is infinitely perfect, thus He never "does something dumb", nor does He owe anyone an apology. He is incapable of wrongdoing.

How do I say the Confiteor? I am a poor sinner, and it is I who owes God an apology for MY sins, not the other way around.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • Ingenting has posted here before, and I don't remember his posts in the past being anything like this.  I wonder if there is some mental illness involved.
