    • If Jesus said he comes as a thief in the night , why would there be a sign in the heaven ?

    He's here already, he said he comes with the clouds and brightens the sky 

    Which worries me as my last confession wasn't valid?

    Looking at it one way, "Our Lord returns" every time the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated.

    I don't know what the Fathers of the Church have to say about it, but I'm not sure we know that the parousia will happen in exactly "this way", or "that way", or that the events of the Last Days won't happen in some kind of slow-motion way, culminating in Our Lord manifesting Himself in a way that no man can question or doubt.  After all, the first time around, He came in a very stealthful, secret manner... born to a virgin on the far edge of the world's greatest empire, in a barn full of animals and laid in a feeding-trough.

    Not to be saccharine or sentimental, just saying...

    • Sir or Ma’am, PLEASE ASK A TRADITIONAL PRIEST!  You simply must quit the self-interpretation of Scripture and/or listening to Protestant heresy!
    If Christ had returned for the General Judgement, you’d not be here making inquiries on Cathinfo.  You’d be in Heaven or Hell. You certainly wouldn’t need to ask which one you are in!

    The end of the world for you is when you die -- which could be at any time -- and Jesus will personally judge you and decide your fate. Worry about that, not eschatology.
