It's not necessary to get rid of it, just don't use it and don't let it be the "Default" browser app.  Make sure you have an alternative browser installed and then change the one you want to be the Default web browsing application.  Just type in "Default" in Windows search and click "Default apps" when it comes up.  Then just click on where it lists Edge as your "Web browser" (about the 6th one down) and switch it to the one you want.

The same thing happened to me yesterday. I was furious—it was the operating system(Windows 10 and 11). It is gone today, but as some have said, you need to change operating systems to something like Linux if you don't want this filth shoved in your face.
