I got an email from a friend that is good fellow, but thinks the NO is fine and that V2 is orthodox. He emailed me the fact that the Roman Missal (the NO) is being revised and that there are workshops on it. My response to him (names and areas changed):
With respect to you fellow Catholic sisters and brothers-I'll stick with the Mass codified by Pope St. Pius V, a revision of the NO means just revising the "mass" of Cramner....no thanks....it was heretical and many English were brutally tortured and died refusing to pray Cramner's "mass" then, what a slap to their faces we say Cramner's Mass now....we just call it the NO...please see the docuмentary (all 5 parts are online @ Youtube and I have it on DVD) "What We have Lost..and the Road to Restoration". Several top prelates studied the NO and concluded "the Novus Ordo represents, both as a whole and in its details, a striking departure from the Catholic theology of the Mass as it was formulated in Session XXII of the Council of Trent. The "canons" of the rite definitively fixed at that time provided an insurmountable barrier to any; heresy directed against the integrity of the Mystery."
http://www.ewtn.com/library/curia/reformof.htm . Even a properly said NO is defective (it can confer graces, but not fully pleasing to God, who gave us the Church, who in turn codified the TLM for the Roman Riters), because at its core it is based, again, on a heretical Anglican template...5 minutes from my house, there is a Anglican "church"..know some people there, very nice....I prefer to stay in the truth, which is of course the Catholic Faith...
You all reading this may or may not agree with me, 0% or 100%, that is fine.I have 2 talks on the English reformation that discuss these issues in depth if anyone is truly open minded. But...
Please, no responses sent back, I am not going to entertain debates or arguments-
they go nowhere and achieve nothing...they will only inflame and divide us..if anyone cannot abide by that, will just go ahead and block you from this govt run computer.
Let us agree if need be, to disagree and work together in love on those things we do agree on, keeping the admonition of Paul (1Cor:13 1 If I speak with the tongues of men, and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And if I should have prophecy and should know all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I should have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And if I should distribute all my goods to feed the poor, and if I should deliver my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.)
Thanks to T_for his diligence in keeping up with this interesting development. Blessings to he and M(spouse)! Your both are wonderful people! Let us also be thankful for priests like Fr. P_, who have given us innumerable gifts and has had courage to stand for the truth. Prayers for Pope Benedict as well. Again, please, no return emails. Thanks!
