I am considering adding "Vianney" after the middle name given to me by my parents. Has anyone here done anything similar? When signing legal docuмents would you have to use two letters as initials?

When signing legal docuмents you shoud only use your name given at birth. Otherwise you would void the docuмent.

Your Confirmation name is not your legal name, unless you have your name changed by deep poll.

I meant initials if you add it legally

I've never legally changed my name, but I often sign docuмents with what is technically a nickname. In the US, as long as you use a name that you are commonly identified by, anything that you sign is still legal and binding. For example, John Wayne could sign "John Wayne" even though his legal name was Marion Robert Morrison.
Cryptinox J.V. "X" does have a nice ring to it though. :cowboy:

If I did it, it would be "David Vianney x"
