Hammock Recommendations?

    • So, our old hammock is DONE.  My husband enjoys relaxing on it in the summer, so I would like to buy a new one for him for Christmas.

    This is much like our old one:

    Classic Cotton Rope Hammock with Steel Stand

    But I see that there are other kinds of hammocks out there.

    Anyone else have one/recommend one?

    I LOVE hammocks!!!  We had one when I was a child which we had tied between two trees. Great memories!

    I hope we can get another one some day.  I just need to find a SUPER heavy duty one.  Our boys are SO rough on everything. 😅🤣

    • And you can get hammocks cheaper at Walmart in person.  Or on line.

    Yes, the one in the OP is over-the-top.  I plan on checking Walmart or Kohl's for something cheaper.

    • The other day, I found a hammock in an adjacent neighborhood that someone was just throwing away.  Looks pretty sturdy, thick canvas.  I may actually be able to put it up in my yard, tied between two trees.  You can find a lot of good stuff by just keeping your eye out for other people's castoffs.

    It's not the kind of thing that I'd ever actually buy for myself, but if it's free, hey.
