    • Just want to re-visit this old, Italian prophecy in light of recent events.  The Lombardy region of N. Italy is being ravaged by the virus.  The southern region of Italy in Naples (City of Philosophers) is expected to explode with deaths as cases rise.  Both +Benedict and +Francis are quite old and easily “high risk” for this virus.  We could be watching this prophecy unfold right before our eyes...
    .
    When the White Pope and the Black Pope shall die during the same night then there will dawn for the Christian nations the Great White Day. Woe unto the City of Philosophers, woe unto Lombardy for thy towers of joy shall be broken down; All the tyrants shall be put out of God's Church, and there shall occur a general conversion to the faith of Christ under the Great Lion."

    Possible explanation for the prophecy:
    .
    White Pope = Benedict.  Still called 'pope', still wears white.  Some say he still retains the essential, papal ministry.
    .
    Black Pope = Francis.  Only Jesuit pope ever.  The head of the Jesuits has always been called the 'black pope' due to his power and influence in the world.  And maybe the ‘black pope’ also includes a reference to his anti-pope status?
    .
    Great Lion = Probably the Great Monarch, who will work together with the prophecized Holy Pope to restore the Church.  Or maybe this just refers to the Holy Pope who works to restore the Church and then eventually crowns the future Monarch?  Either way, the Great Lion is a good guy who does great work for the Church.  
    .
    City of Philosophers = Naples, Italy, which is expected to have a surge of deaths as the virus moves south.
    .
    Lombardy = Milan, a financial center of Italy, which has 2 tall financial skyscrapers (i.e. towers of joy).  Not only has Lombardy been ravaged by the virus, but the global financial crisis is far from being over and Milan’s financial status could easily crumble as the global economy continues to deteriorate.

    • The Count of Chambord idea is at the same time the most unlikely of theories and the most charming. At this point, anything will do as long as it brings the Restoration.

    As far as the old prophecy goes, there was an interesting moment in the past that nearly lined up with it. Pope St. Pius X and Superior General Franz Xaver Wernz died a few hours apart but on the opposing sides of midnight. The fact that Pope Francis could be considered a Black Pope twice over, the fragile state of both men's health and the current pandemic, I'm tempted to halfway get my hopes up. It makes sense if that's how the two "worm-ridden Popes" are supposed to go out. They need to be removed by Divine Intervention.

    That's Marie Julie-Jahenny, the blind mystic and yes that is where the prophecies seem to point strongly to Henri Artois. I am slightly leary of Jahenny's prophecies for a few reasons. First thing is that a cavalcade of angels and saints appeared to her over many decades, as well as Our Lord and Our Lady. The sheer bulk of these prophecies are similar to that of the open-ended Medjugorje visions. They never seem to end and for the most part are vague and imprecise. Secondly, like Gemma Galgani, Marie never wrote a single vision down. All her visions were transcribed and then later handed over at a much later date to a certain André Lesage, a man who called himself the Marquis de la Franquerie for his political writings in support of monarchy and the Catholic Church.
    " In an ecstasy dated August 24, 1939, Our Lord and Our Lady warned that a “conflagration” was about to break out, i.e., WW II, and Our Lord declared that all the texts of Marie-Julie's ecstasies were to be given to the Marquis de la Franquerie to ensure they would not be seized by the Germans. The Marquis founded the Association "Le Sanctuaire de Marie-Julie Jahenny" in 1959 and was chairman until his death in 1992."

    While she was fairly well known in France, it never appears as though a rigorous examination was performed of her situation. I myself suspect her friends and associates might have taken the opportunity to inject their own messages onto hers, similar to how there were some people who used Padre Pio as a mouthpiece for their own interests.

    • Where in the Book of the Apocalypse of St. John does it say there will be a Great Monarch?
    Even if there was going to be one, it won't be from Europe. White people rejected God. Europe rejected God. Just as the Jєωs rejected God and they are cursed for it, white people also rejected God and they are being chastised for it. White people are no longer proteges of the Lord Jesus Christ. The only people I see arising out of France, Italy and other parts of Europe are more little antichrists, before the main Antichrist (a Jєω) publicly emerges. If there is going to be a Great Monarch restoring the Kingship of Christ across the globe, he would probably come from a dirt poor region like Guatemala or Syria.

    Marie-Julie was a victim soul  and stigmatist (docuмented by Bishop Fournier) for most all of her life, willingly giving up her 5 senses for Christ and His Church along with essentially being immobile and in great pain. I'm assuming she didn't write down her visions because she was blind- I'm sure that had something to do with it.. Many times suffering souls have someone trusted write down their visions because it was requested by Christ- Ann Catherine Emmerich to name one. Even those suffering souls that can write them down are often reluctant due to many reasons, mostly humility, and had to have Heavenly prompting to do so, like Sr Lucy and Sr Josefa Menendez.I have never read anything more moving than the Holy Week writings about Marie-Julie mystically carrying the Cross- stunning.

    He's of French descent, and he will rule the 3rd Roman Empire from France.  But being that so many royalty have intermarried for centuries, he will probably be part German, Austrian, Spanish, etc.  There was a Spanish prophecy that Spain would have a great king who would have some connection to France.

    Many Church Fathers agree that before the period of anti-Christ that monarchies would return and the “Roman empire” would rise again.  The Bible is clear that before anti-Christ gains power there are 10 Kingdoms (which many prophecies say occurs after the death of the Great Monarch).  The anti Christ takes 7 of the kings and attacks the 3 kings who won’t follow him.  Then he takes full power.
    .
    So all this talk about the Great Monarch is part biblical and not just about recent prophecies.  It’s a pretty consistent theme of the end times.

    Might consider expanding your horizons on these issues, GF.  Although public revelation ended with St. John, the last 2000 years have seen continual private revelations made for the good of souls.  Something as massive and well-known as Fatima is not even public revelation, properly defined.  God has revealed many things about these tumultuous times to hundreds of chosen souls over the course of many centuries.  It is wise to lend such things credence, although it is also wise to examine them while realizing the vast majority are not exactly explicit, crystal clear, etc.

    That reminds me of what someone said about the vision of the 3rd Secret of Fatima:

    "Kingdoms" and "kings" may simply be a metaphor for ruling nation and rulers, respectively, however they are manifested. St. John uses those specific terms because they were the only forms of governance at his time.
