Thanks Emile, this is good stuff to know. The key is to totally disable the person and run away. That means eye gouges, throat strikes, instep stomps, groin grabs .... and then run away.

Of course THE most important thing to do is avoid places that have dangerous people, do not live there.

  • I think that as society continues to disintegrate we are all likely to need skills that many people wouldn't have even had to think about a few years or a few decades ago.

A few months ago someone tried to carjack my cousin. She was able to maneuver her vehicle enough to escape unharmed.
A few weeks ago I was in a small town and witnessed an attempted murder in broad daylight (drug related, I'm sure). The guy emptied an entire clip and never even nicked his intended victim. You can't even get competent thugs anymore. ;)

This reminds me of a scene from the movie “Falling Down”

When you see something like this on the news, you'll know I finally went over the edge :laugh1:

    Oh dear! :jester:

I was thinking of the “you missed’ scene.

I can empathize with this character, esp in these extra evil days, and in my advancing sickness filled years.

I am surprised we don’t see more of this, but what we ARE seeing is exponentially worse.

  • I forgot about that scene. The real life shooting was a guy on foot trying to take out a "gangsta" lookin' guy driving a new luxury car. Thankfully he didn't hit anyone else either.

The fast food scene always reminds me of a real life experience:
20+ years ago I went to a McDonalds drive thru, planning on ordering breakfast as it was 10:15 and their sign said "breakfast served till 10:30". I heard the guy in front of me place a breakfast order. The clerk responded "sorry, we're not serving breakfast anymore today, order something else". The guy said " but it's only 10:15, and your sign says 10:30". The response, snarled by a very irritated sounding young woman, was : "well, in HERE it's 10:30!!"
Remembering the old adage, don't tick off the people that handle your food or your money, I ordered lunch. ;)

  • "Don't make me assume my ultimate form!!!"

(Warning: Rough language in this drive-through rage scene):

    No McNuggets at 10:30???

    Wow! That's a memorable one. :(
And I thought a "big mac attack" was bad. :laugh1:

Wed, 07 Jul 2010 19:49:43 GMT — Melodi Dushane wanted Chicken McNuggets for breakfast on New Years Day. When she found out they were not on the McDonald's breakfast menu, she flew into a rage, punched through the drive-thru window and assaulted the clerk.
Dushane's raging desire for Chicken McNuggets has earned her 60 days in jail. She was sentenced today by Lucas County Common Pleas Court judge Linda Jennings. She also received three years of community control. She was sentenced after pleading no contest to one felony count of vandalism.
Dushane entered the drive-thru at McDonalds at 90 Front St. in the early morning hours of January 1, 2010 and ordered Chicken McNuggets from the menu. When told they were not available in the morning, she reportedly flew into a rage, damaging the window, assaulting the clerk, and injuring herself. She was taken to Mercy St. Charles Hospital for treatment prior to being arrested.

Dushane was also charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault. She is scheduled to stand trial on those charges August Third in Toledo Municipal Court

Hell hath no fury like a woman who didn’t get her chicken nuggets.
My advice: empty the entire magazine. Wink nudge sly grin
Or make sure she gets plenty of Covid jabs..,,about 100
