God loves us just as much as He does His son.
The above is a quote from an author on a book description.
Who says God does not hate ?
In the Bible it states God hated Esau. Paul points this out in Romans 9 to illustrate that it is God who chooses us and not we who choose God. God does not choose everyone. Paul's statement is reference to Malachi chapter 1.
One thing I firmly have come to believe in over time, God plays favorites and loves some more than others.
I really find myself offended for God when people demote God to the human emotion of "love".
God is Love. ---- REALLY ?
So God is just summed up as a subjective human emotion, cannot be more or less, cannot have a personality, be wrathful or have perfect hate ?
We move past coffee cup feel good logoism and respect God as the all powerful creator of the universe who also has a distinct personality.
Seek true God instead of trying to fit him into a Disney fantasy world.
(There is one single quote in some versions of the Bible that says God is love, in more accurate versions it is translated as God is charity.)
