  • I was born 1952.  The sidewalks had children playing marbles, jacks, jump rope, hop scotch, and you see no children today.  I went home to visit home for a week, IN.  No children playing outside.  Came back to AZ, no children outside playing.  Ou neighbor of 3 children are afraid to have their children outside in the front, street side.  In IN the same was said by the neighbors there.

CPS is putting up their for hire signs for more and more to take children away from mom and dad who did nothing wrong.  I would feel the same way.

  • I tend to think this belief that children are constantly connected to their digital games is overblown.  I live near a park, and there is almost always many children back there swinging, sliding, playing soccer and basketball, or just running around.  I'm sure they have video games at home, but they definitely get plenty of good outdoor play.
