  • Hi all.

I'm not a believer of garabandal ,I can't see God sending the entire world a warning and a miracle, as it doesn't seem scriptural " an adultrous generation will not get a sign"

but a very holy priest I know is a great believer.

One thing that stays in my mind is that they talk about a "synod" that would be a big event in the  church and the Amazon synod comes to mind .

They also said that communism will be everywhere and it would be difficult for priests to say mass.

So the things they have predicted has come to pass

It would be nice if the apparition were real, I just can't believe it

  • I THINK Bishop Williamson is open to Garabandal.
The weird manifestations of the young girls gave me pause.....kind of creepy

  • Garabandal is Our Lady's response to 1) the failure of John XXIII to reveal the Third Secret and 2) to the putting aside of the orthodox preparatory schemas for Vatican II around October 1961. Garabandal is a continuation of the Fatima message.

The first message of Our Lady to the children at Garabandal took place on October 18, 1961. Right around this time the scrapping of the orthodox preparatory schemas took place according to Fr. Henri de Lubac (link).

Around the same time in October 1961, John XXIII called an Audience of Italian Journalists, where all the big newspapers in Italy sent a representative (link). This was the shift from Vatican II as a "Church Council" to a modern public relations campaign.

Our Lady, in response to these events, initiated her own kind of "public relations campaign." Go back and read the Garabandal messages and events in this context and I think you will understand its importance.

The Warning and Miracle are definitely Scriptural. But beyond Scripture, each of Our Lady's messages has included a "Warning" and a "Miracle." So to reject Garabandal on those grounds seems ridiculous.

I don't believe that at all.  I believe that it was meant as a distraction from the Third Secret of Fatima.

There were several epic fails of prophesied events, and I understand it that the "visionaries" themselves stopped believing in it.  There was certainly preternatural activity there, but I believe it to have been of the devil.  When you have children running backwards up hills ... backwards / reverse is always a hallmark of Satan.
