    No, it's not our future.  I'm a teacher.  I've had this happen!  Do our readers know, for example, that there is no difference between the Constitution and The Bill of Rights?  The docuмents, "subsume" one another.  My building principal took it upon herself to overrule me, and demanded I write a letter of apology to the parents of the fourth grade girl who misidentified the Constitution on her test.  
    Instead, I wrote letters of resignation to the principal, superintendent, and school board.  I haven't taught in public school since two weeks to the day I submitted my resignation.  That was in 1981.  I can only imagine the condition of that school in 2019.
