I guess we just have to focus on the one bad thing in the speech. (Probably just human error and not a nefarious plot.) It was probably not some statement about when life begins like the NCR made it.  Now the devil will get attention and the good that God might have wanted us to see, dissipates into oblivion.

It's a very common colloquial error, among people in general, to think of birth as being the beginning of life.  Expectant parents say "we're going to have a baby", never "we have a baby".  Just sloppy thinking.

Let's imagine  the President would have written: "And the Word was made flesh..", can you explain 'that' to the regular american citizen?   The word "Word"...hmmm? worldy women wrapping their brain ---might say: "what's he talking about anyway", and probably wouldn't investigate. I'm content that your President defined the term Immaculate Conception, which was the purpose of the message... DECEMBER 8.  Introducing the Holy Mother of God, in Advent, plus referencing Queen of Peace as a title,  ...this is surprising!
Pray for our national leaders.
"Hail Mary,.."

It is an error about the Incarnation - not just some accident.

Even if one still held to something like delayed ensoulment, it would still be a monstrous error.

It isn't beautiful - it is a Christological insult wrapped in a flowery speech about Mary.

Which, actually makes sense if he was trying to curry favor with "Catholics", but he doesn't have the faith so he let a monster slip out and no one here who read it even blinked.

Remember who you are dealing with.

"I'm the Daddy of IVF" - pro abort Trump.

So in that sense, his "accidental" error takes on a bit of a different angle...

I will give credit where credit is due.

NCR are a bunch of Novus Ordite bought schlemiels, but once in awhile the get something right.

But, "No, no it was probably just his ghostwriter and/or just a harmless mistake and now NCR has ruined everything!" ::)

Simple point, the man many of you think is Pope says wonderful flowerly things about Mary, Jesus, the saints, and everything else you love all the time. But you could give a crap less what he has to say and no one opines about the "beauty" of what Leo just said.

You detest Leo for his adherence to Vatican II and all the other errors even while you think of him as Pope.

Now, I think we can all agree that most everyone here believes Trump is the actual President of the U.S.

I think we can all agree that he is not Catholic.

I think we can all agree he is pro-abort/IVF.

But he posts some drivel like this on his webpage and everyone croons, "b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l, "lovely", "how nice", etc. while he is spreading a Christological error!

Someone pass me the bucket...
So Trump, not being a Catholic, knows exactly what he is doing to bring down the Faithful?  Yet the "Pope" who should know what he is doing, doesn't?  Is that what you just implied?

Some call Leo Pope, but all the wonderful orthodox things he says about Jesus, Mary, etc. get no attention.

BUT HE IS THEIR POPE!

They ignore him because of his errors.

Now Trump isn't even Catholic - Why would Catholics who hold Leo Pope show interest in what Trump has to say about the Immaculate Conception but not so much Leo?

Not only that,

Trump has multiple "marriages"

Trump supports the LGIBTOA#WYI people

Trump is the "Daddy of IVF"

Trump thinks, "States should regulate abortion and those that have made it illegal have gone to far."

Trump was buddies with Epstien

Trump seems to be buddies with Sean Combs

Trump is owned by the youknowwhos

Trump is pro pantheism

Trump is also suspect of ties to Masonry.

Trump is NOT someone to be trusted to when it comes to religious truth or frankly any truth at all.

Trump has as many (if not more) errors than Leo.
But between the two - it is Leo that should have his writings about Mary shared (please don't) before Trump - especially if you are someone who holds him to be Pope.

So yes, pray for them both.
But renounce their errors too.
They should pitied for their miserable state and vilified for the their corrupt public sins with the hope of warning others off their deceptions and also to induce the sinner to repent.

This administration should be denounced, not swooned over.

Nor should one hold his theologically erroneous flattery as some kind of "lovely" finger painting to share with the rest of the class as an object of goodness.

Ohhhhh....

Hold on....

Where is that bucket again
My point, and I know no one really cares, is that if you focus on the demonic things of this world you play right into the hands of demons.  Is that what you want?  All people do these days is point out everyone's faults.  And guess what you get when you do that?  People looking for buckets.....   I am just tired of the ideas that everything is leading to Hell.  God is here. God is allowing these things to happen, and all people can point out is the power of demons.  I will just continue to look for Hope and you can continue to cast stones.

Around 1970 in I think it was The Remnant news paper, there was a very lengthy article beautifully written all about the Blessed Sacrament, what it is, some of It's history, miracles, tradition, devotions etc.,  and also all about how the conciliar church disregarded all of that and now comparatively was bent on disrespecting it. The whole article took up over 2 full pages in what was a full size newspaper and was full of wonderfully explained Catholic truths and how the Blessed Sacrament lost it's place in the Catholic Church.

It was written by a Presbyterian minister who said that he was saddened to see what happened to the Catholic Church, essentially overnight.

So whoever actually wrote that piece deserves credit because it was beautiful, regardless that some theological points were wrong.
