  • Hello all,
    First post here.
My mother is getting very ill and it looks like I'm flying out to Texas where she lives for 2 weeks in june. She lives in McAllen Texas, and I just checked the lux vera site for mass locations... But the nearest option is four and a half hours away.
Anyone live around there and have any ideas?

I'm a sedevacantist, but maybe an sspx or an sspx resistance would be okay? I'd probably have to talk to my priest or Bishop. I intend to drag her along with me if at all possible, since I've been trying to convert her for a year and a half anyway.

    Thank you in advance.

To clarify...i am not intending on dragging a very sick woman to mass lol...I'll basically be there to "babysit", as my sister is leaving town. Mom has been in the hospital for a fall and uti, and is doing well. But sis doesn't want to leave her alone.

I re read my post and it sounded off... Sorry for any misunderstanding.:)

  • I believe the SSPX still offers Mass in Corpus Christi. Their website right now says it's most Sundays at 4:30pm.
My guess is that the best you'll find further south than that would be diocese-approved TLM.
