Can I tell you a story first. This is a Mass i discovered in 2015. A friend I sent it to sent it back to me for Christmas. I watched it again an hour ago. Into it a bit I began sobbing. When Christ was nailed on the cross blood gushed from my nose with emotion. Be careful it doesn't happen to you. Keep your tissues handy.
This video will show you what the Mass is really all about.
Thank God for our faith'

Sorry for the size of the link, it came out like that.

  • Likely blocked, if you look in the video description, for using music from a CD on a Fox label. That's my guess. The music itself predates the United States by about 200 years, but the CD does not. There our problem lies.

  • Oh I am so sorry, I did not know that.

    the video is called

A Meditation on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

It shows a sung high Mass said by three priests. As each part of the Mass goes from one to the other we see scenes from Hutton Gibson's film that are reflected in the Mass, associations I was not aware of and I am going to the Latin Mass for 75 years now. We see Christ being scourged and tried, then crucified while the priest is doing the Consecration, and it becomes real, as thought we were there at the time when attending Mass. The music is equally divine and sad. we see what Our Lady had to go through as she watched Her son offering up His life so that Heaven is open for those who love Him. Again how I wish we could all share this experience.

I would like to know if any were able to see it.
Here in pagan Ireland it works by e-mail to friends.

  • Does anyone have a proxy server, so that they could sign in, as being "in Belgium"?  Perhaps download it and put it in the CathInfo library, assuming such a thing is possible?  Then we could each upload it to our own machines?

Or, Matthew, is this such a crazy use of bandwidth, that I deserve to be strangled with an RJ11 cable, and forbidden to act like I know what I'm talking about, where computers are concerned, ever again? :fryingpan:

I was an IT administrator back in the days, early 1990s, when the only requirements for such a job, were knowing how to turn on a computer, and having a pulse (pulse optional).  I tried to get Novell Netware certified (back when that was a thing) and failed the first test, after that I just gave up.  A bit out of my wheelhouse.

I had proxy server software until just recently, when I decided that the $79 renewal fee was impossible to justify.  Being able to watch European TV online (by pretending to be in that country) gets old after awhile.  I get everything I need from Roku.

  • Thank you Cassini for the beautiful Mass.

I just went to Youtube and typed in  A meditation on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and it came up immediately.

"Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered: and them that hate Him flee from before His Holy Face"  Psalm 67:2[/b]

Many thanks Miseremini. The one I watched was 28 minutes long, 3 priests, many altar-boys, full church and beautiful choir. Do you think yopu could get that one for us?
    Again many thanks.

  • Face book was blocking info when I was spreading info from Ireland. I hope they had fun spying on me but did nothing when children are being lured and murdered.  I started erasing contacts as advent deleted the whole account.

They did not like Irish Patriot.
I like that group because they are Catholic.

This is not a block from Facebook... it's using music from an album on a label, making it copyright-restricted in the US.

Not everything these days is an attack or block.

  • In the link below there are 35 comparisons of the Mass to the Passion.  You can also find them in old Precious Blood sisters' prayer books.  (c1920-1930)
