A local radio station did a segment today on Facebook, saying that "Facebook is dead."  

The age group from 16-19 is abandoning Facebook in droves.  The reason is, they say, that their parents are now on Facebook and that's "not cool."  

So Facebook says they're not worried because the older users are going to stick around since they're used to Facebook now and they don't like to learn new things.

With the younger members walking away, there won't be as much volume, and the older members won't have much to talk about, say critics.  The youths are moving over to Twitter and other such sites, where they can have more anonymity.  They don't want their parents watching their conversations.
