Where I would part ways with the pro-life lobbyists is my opinion on Fine Gael. Regardless of their stance on abortion, the party want to tax the family home. The pro-life lobby need to get behind the anti-property tax movement.
In Meath East for example pro-lifers are trying to decide on a candidate in the upcoming bye-election.The date is 27th March. They seem to be ignoring that Ben Gilroy of Direct Democracy Ireland. Gilroy, who is against abortion is campaigning on a much broader platform than 'vote pro-life'. I don't expect him to get elected but he will have a long term effect in that area.
A good "hang the bankers" campaign is necessary in Meath East and the two fingers to the sham of parliamentary democracy. FG/LAB/FF/SF, the Irish deserve better.
Whilst I commend the pro-lifers, they are out of touch with the mood of the Irish people. Abortion and the tax on the family home will finish off the gangsters we have in the parliament.
