  • Here is an article that appeared in the April 17, 1992 issue of the
Santa Ana Register by David McQuay in how he found again his
Faith again in an old Missal that followed him through his life.

  • Maybe we should pray for this person. Even journalists need prayers.

  • Is he still alive?  Can he be contacted? Be a detective?

  • I was a vivid reader of the Santa Ana Register when I lived in Long Beach
because its editorial opinions were very Conservative compared to the
Los Angeles Times, and the Long Beach Press Telegram.
I cut thet article out of the paper and kept it in an old Missal because
it was so inspirational. I recently unearthed it and decided to post it on
    Cathinfo.
At that time, I was attending Maria Stella Maris, the old Military Chapel
located on the former upper reservation of Fort MacArthur in San
    Pedro. Father Charles Donohue.

Thanks for all your research.  In 1992 there was no such of a thing as an
the Internet. The only way articles like this can be saved for prosperity
is for someone to cut them out of the paper, and save them through
the years. This clipping would still be a personal thing if it was not for
    the Internet.
I pray that he converted to the entire Catholic Faith before he died.
If it was not for your research, I would not have known that he has
    been dead almost 20 years.
