I don't recall that any SSPX chapels were closed down during Covid, but maybe I'm wrong about that. And that in many areas, masks weren't mandatory at SSPX chapels? Despite the stance of the leadership of the SSPX during Covid, at least there was still access to the sacraments at that time.
If I'm not mistaken, in Ohio for example the SSPX closed and followed the orders of the state, meanwhile Fr. Jenkins stayed open the entire time and had an influx of parishioners to the SSPV.

Oh my, so sorry to hear that. It's interesting that the situation was so different during Covid for SSPX chapels here in the Northwestern United States. The chapel that I attended at that time was always open. It never closed. I think that most SSPX chapels didn't close, though obviously, a few did.

I really like Fr. Jenkins, btw; so glad that he took in an influx of SSPX folks at that time.

In France, all the SSPX schools were maskless, although the children were asked to keep a mask in their pockets in case of a visit from the police. We were advised never to test the children in case the entire school became registered covid contacts. 

The very worst part of the covid con was the masking of children and the SSPX schools were thankfully spared from this.
