Title: Fast learner on devices
Post by: copticruiser on January 24, 2018, 03:03:33 AM
These horrible addictive devices were so confusing and even still I’m learning the do s and don’ts.
iPod for music hhmmmm
iPhone for communication hhhhmmm

Now it’s media, txting, gaming, plain ole waste of time. My 17yr old can’t live without it. My next 6 kids will have different rules.

Back to reading, family talks, educational movies, I don’t mind a Friday movie, or a half hour game on occasion but these evil devices cause character change, anger, laziness, and secularism. Many good families unknowingly have had much grief over these controlling devices.
Be forewarned educate yourself on their powers and want are some healthy boundaries with kids? It is such a growing problem. Like I said it really changed life for my 17 yr old girl. A bit wiser going forward.

Any more tips or experiences greatly appreciated. Wanting holy wholesome kids not zombies.

Are there no restrictions set by you, her parents, on her use of these gadgets ?? Who pays?

.
If they are evil devices which cause character change, anger, laziness, and secularism, why do you allow them in your home?

How can you apply restrictions on the use of these things on the rest of your children if you don't apply them in the case of your first?
Or have you applied said restrictions? Maybe I have misread you.
What part has Dad to play in this dilemma?

Sorry, no answers, only questions - except to say that zombies are often a result of parents feeling a responsibility to keep their children entertained, and not giving them enough responsibility to share the load.
