  • Are these common in other countries? It's quite common now to have a "Healing Mass" in an Irish parish church and at an all night prayer vigil, I encountered many supporters of this "movement". I prayed the rosary with them but had to move away as some of the devotions seemed very novus ordo. I had to decline singing 'Bind us Together'

What is a "healing Mass"? Catholics can go off on tangents in NewChurch.

It's seems to be a movement that prays for the sins of their ancestors.

  • It's out of the work of Fr. Hampsch, the idea of generational curses etc.

He wrote a book on it, which we have, search for 087973437X on Amazon, it's called Healing Your Family Tree, by Fr. John Hampsch

We have the book, and I would say, Novus Ordo or not, his book is good and he has a point.

Many problems today in the world stem from personal curses from people dabbling in the black arts, but also, unaddressed generational curses that can now run rampant since no one believes in God nor attends Mass, and many Masses are possibly not even valid.

    Check out the book

I have heard this, but from a Protestant uncle, so I didn't listen much. Good to hear from a more reliable source. I'll check it out, too!
