Think we have a fake UFO invasion coming soon judging by all the alien propaganda in the news.
Do you think this is what is meant when in scripture it says the antichrist will perform signs and wonders ?
‘[St] Thomas also denied the claim that there are multiple worlds. Like Hippolytus, he attributed this false claim to those who did not acknowledge the ordering wisdom of God. St Thomas declared: “Those who posit many worlds do not believe in any ordaining wisdom, but in chance, as Democritus, who said that this world and infinitely many others came from a concourse of atoms.” Prof. A. Martinez,

‘Other theologians too cited this heresy for centuries. They explained the problem, “we cannot assert that there exist two or many worlds, since neither do we assert two or many Christs [the only begotten son]” Aristotle had insisted that many worlds cannot exist since it would require more than one First Cause.’--- Prof. A. Martinez.
‘I can imagine an infinite number of worlds like the Earth, with Garden of Eden on each one. In all these gardens of Eden, half the [alien] Adams and Eves will not eat the fruit of knowledge, but half will. But half of infinity is infinity, so an infinite number of worlds will fall from grace and there will be an infinite number of crucifixions.’--- As quoted by Prof. A. A. Martinez in his book Burned Alive.
Incorporated into their Pythagorean cosmic doctrines were heresies and blasphemies condemned by the early Catholic Church Fathers from 150AD to 450AD; associated heresies such as an infinite universe; that a moving Earth and other moving cosmic bodies must have souls; that God is the soul of the universe, and that there are many worlds like Earth with intelligent beings (aliens) living on them.
In the ‘new’ Galilean creation, the Earth is recast as an evolved planet. And if the Earth is an evolved planet with evolved life, then why couldn’t other evolved planets evolve life, even intelligent life like mankind? If such ‘evolved’ life exists elsewhere, one could ask if Church teaching that applies to human beings also pertains to aliens. This in turn, leads to the idea of other Christs, another heresy long condemned by the Church. Nevertheless, for 100 years now we can find records of popes telling members of their Pontifical Academy of Sciences how natural science has advanced our understanding of Catholic faith and reason.
In 1600 Bruno was burned at the stake for spreading such beliefs. Four hundred year later, in 2009, the Vatican had begun hosting conferences with scientists and religious leaders discussing the implications for religion and human consciousness if extraterrestrial life is found on ‘numerous worlds.’ One statement was that aliens would be part of God’s Creation so would be regarded as our ‘extraterrestrial brothers.’ Here is another:
‘Father Funes described the discovery as ‘great news.’ Writing in the Vatican’s daily newspaper L’Osservatore Romano, he said: ‘Our galaxy contains more than a hundred billion stars. ‘Considering the number of exoplanets discovered, it seems that the vast majority of stars in our galaxy, at least potentially, can have planets where life could develop.’ He said that if there is intelligent life found on another planet, he does not see it as a contradiction to the Christian faith. He said: ‘The Bible is not a scientific book. If we look for scientific responses to our questions in the Bible, we are making a mistake. It is just over 380 years since the Catholic Church condemned Galileo for arguing that the Earth was not the centre of the universe. But it seems the Vatican has relaxed its view of mankind’s place in the cosmos and even believes there may be intelligent alien life out there. Astronomers at the Vatican Observatory, which has been studying the heavens since 1582, have said discoveries of new Earth-like planets have strengthened their belief that there could be life on other planets.’ --- Mailonline, 8th Feb, 2018.
‘LOOKING FOR ALIENS,’ by M. Wertheim. ‘Throughout his astronomical career, Father George Coyne, senior scientist at the Vatican Observatory Research Group, whose work has inadvertently dovetailed with our growing desire for extraterrestrial contact, a subject about which he remains optimistically equivocal…. Roger Angel says: “Before, you could only speculate about extraterrestrial life. Now we’re at a point where we can make telescopes with which we can actually go looking for life.” Looking out at the telescopes arrayed around us, Fr Coyne suggests that we might view stars as God’s sperm. Every sperm has the potential to produce life, he says. Father Coyne is confident that we are not alone. As a priest and a scientist, the marvel for him is the universe itself.’--- Science & Spirit website.
In 2014, the Christian Post reported that the Jesuit Brother Guy Consolmagno president of the Vatican Observatory, proposed the eventual discovery of alien life forms after Pope Francis (2013-), speculating about alien life forms during Mass at the Vatican, used the analogy that even Martians, should they ever visit Earth, would be welcome to be baptised. Baptism of course is a sacrament that erases Original Sin inherited only by the descendants of Adam and Eve. Why then would a pope offer to baptise a Martian? To subject this sacrament to heretical science-fiction shows us the rotten fruit of the Galilean reformation.
Today, a scientific worldview has now replaced a religious one, with aliens now more credible than angels. You see then why the alien heresy has now reached it peak. So yes xavierpope, if Lucifer was to send some of his devils to Earth as aliens, then Catholicism would be made look like another religion of fiction.
